ONE
I'm keeping up my Monthly Makeup Baskets for 2020 because I really enjoyed that they helped me shop my stash and allowed me to use and love everything in my collection! I always like to remember the older products and not let them get pushed aside when I get something shiny and new!
The products that I'm using in April are:
- Catrice x Eman Highlighter Palette - this is a newer highlighter palette in my collection, I just recently used it in a Full Face of Catrice and can't wait to get more use from it!
- Note Cosmetics Luminous Silk Compact Blusher in Desert Rose - this was a past favourite from January 2019 and I received it in a past subscription; but, I honestly haven't really reached for it since it made my favourites!
- ColourPop Disney Designer Enchanted Mirror Pressed Powder Blush - this is such a great blush! I've been loving the Disney x ColourPop princess collections!

And here are the products that I used for my March Monthly Makeup Basket - I always like to recap the products I used for the month:
- Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette - this is such a pretty little palette that I had recently picked up and it actually made my March Monthly Favourites for the month!
- ColourPop Coronation Pressed Powder Highlighter ~ this is such a good, easy highlighter formula! It looks really lovely on - you can see it on me here!
- Burt's Bees Blush in Shy Pink - This is a great blush formula - it made my Best of Makeup in 2018 - it's easy and comfortable to wear and this is a great pink shade!
I really like all the products that I used this past month!
THREE
How gorgeous is my new mug?! It's the beautiful The Night Circus mug but Out of Print - it's only $12 US and it's a heat activated mug! So, this picture only shows up when there is something warm in it! The other side says "The Circus Arrives Without Warning" and it's so lovely for any Night Circus fan!
FOUR
So, my little guy's turning 3 shortly, and I'm a little sad I won't be able to plan him a party and it's just going to be our little family unit, but I still wanted to do a little something for his special day.
A Little Confetti shop is this adorable little party supply shop in Calgary and the owner recently started doing these "Petite Party Boxes" so I picked up the Petite Superhero Party Box so I can at least do a little themed dinner and cake for Elliott. And, I also picked up these "Stickies" which are just edible decorating stickers! They also free deliveries a couple of days a week, so I had to place an order!
FIVE
I'm really trying to shop local and support small Calgary brands - it's a really hard time for all businesses right now and I really want to do my part! This week I picked up a candle from Milk Jar Candle Co. - they released their Summer Hawaii scent a month early ($29.00 CA) and I also ordered CakeFace beer and Cider from Cold Garden Beverage Company which are not pictured because we drank them and they were delicious! And, Avenue Calgary is offering a free 3 month subscription to their magazine - it's still up now if you are interested in Calgary's happenings!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
