November 2018 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!
I love these Haul posts; because, for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up throughout a month - honestly, I buy so much stuff that if I don't share it here, it might not pop up until my empties post! Let me know if there is anything you want to see a full post on, just let me know and I will do it!)
Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! I can go a little crazy sometimes with new things though - why is there so much new makeup being released all the time?! I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!
Here is a look at everything I bought in November:
Sephora VIB Rouge Shopping Haul #1 ~ $84.00 CAN. Ya, there are multiple shopping hauls for this sale - there was lots I wanted to try! Clearly there is a lot of Bite Beauty - I wanted to try the Agave Lip Mask (I'm running out of mine and heard this one was amazing), plus I also really had to try the Bite Beauty Scorpio lipstick (you can see my review here), and I also picked up the 2018 Birthday gift by Bite!

Mask Wednesday - Sephora Collection Supermask "The Golden Mask"
Happy Mask Wednesday everyone! I'm always up for trying masks that are fun and weird - I feel like a foil gold mask fits right in there! Plus, it's from Sephora Collection which is our CBB Brand of the Month!
Sephora Collection Supermask - The Golden Mask ~ $8.00 CAN. A limited-edition foil mask to support skin’s natural radiance.
This mask features honey to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and leave skin bright and hydrated! The foil material helps lock the ingredients in to the skin for maximum absorption.

Natural, Organic, Vegan (and Mostly Canadian) Shampoos and Conditioners!
I have complained about my hair type on here before - it is both thin and fine, which is not the greatest combination. I run in to the problem that a lot of shampoos and conditioners just don't work well for me, so I'm always on the hunt for a set that works for my hair!
I've tested out quite a few different haircare brands lately and the best part is they are mostly Canadian and are all some form of vegan, natural, organic and cruelty free!

Manicure Monday - New Sephora Collection Color Hit Mini Nail Polishes + Leaves Nail Art
Happy Mani Monday everyone! I was so excited to see Sephora Collection nail polishes pop up recently as ever since Formula X was discontinued, I was waiting for another "house" brand pop up for affordable polishes there!
The Sephora Collection Color Hit Mini Nail Polishes are fairly new to Sephora and come with a decent shade selection of creme finishes, and a few shimmers and glitters.

Becca x Glamglow We Know Glow Kit ~ Gravitymud Firming Treatment & Shimmering Skin Perfector in Rose Glow
When I saw Becca and Glamglow were releasing a limited edition set together I thought it was such a fun idea! Of course I want a pink highlight and mask together!

This set contains two deluxe size products:

Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask - Try-on and Review!
Have I established on here that I'm a Lushie?! I feel like I've been pretty open about my love of Lush products!
It's actually rare for me to find a Lush mask that I haven't tried - I love to try them all! But, I haven't tried Rosy Cheeks yet, which is surprising because I love rose products on my skin!

Bite Beauty ~ Astrology by Bite Limited Edition Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Scorpio
I loved when Bite announced that they were releasing a lipstick shade for each Astrology sign! But, it was such a long wait for the end of October to come around so we could see what Scorpio looked like!
I'm a Scorpio born early November and I really like astrology, so I'm in to all the astrology releases! I used to follow astrology a lot more than I do now. I certainly believe I'm a pretty true Scorpio and I believe in the traits, compatibility, etc. I just am not always checking my horoscope or analyzing everyone based on their birthdays!

Manicure Monday - Night Sky Constellation Nails + Essence "Out Of Space Stories" Polish Swatches
Happy Manicure Monday! I have been wanting to do a Night Sky themed manicure with constellations for quite some time, so I'm so excited for this week's manicure!
When I picked up a few of these Essence "Out Of Space Stories" polishes, I new this was the perfect time to do a Night Sky manicure! In addition to this manicure look, I also am swatching four of the polishes from the collection (and I used them all in this Night Sky mani)!

Wise - Canadian Men's Natural, Organic and Vegan Products
Wise is a Canadian brand of men's natural, organic and cruelty free hair and skincare products! They focus on carefully sourced ingredients and responsible and recycle-able packaging.
Also, all of their products use natural ingredients, and contain no artificial fragrances or dyes, MEA, DEA or TEA, parabens, phthalates or sulphates that damage the hair. I love a company that not only focuses on ingredients; but, also on packaging! I really love that everything is recyclable - there seems to be a lot of care in to the whole line!

Five on Saturday - November 17, 2018
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all had a great week!
ONE
I have been eagerly anticipating the release of the new Fantastic Beasts Book - The Crimes of Grindelwald! Yes, I needed to get it right away as I'm still such a huge fan of the Harry Potter world and so far I've been liking this prequel/spin off! And, I like these books in screenplay form - it's a little different!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! I try not to get too many holiday goodies for myself; but, I can't resist the Lush Christmas collection!

Too Faced Tickled Peach Mini Eyeshadow Palette ~ Swatches, Eye Look, Sweet Peach Comparison, and Review!
It's no secret that I love the Too Faced peach products - I have purchased quite a few of the products in the line! I know the packaging and the peach scent aren't for everyone; but, I'm a total sucker for cute packaging so it's great for me! Plus, I actually think the scents make makeup fun!
Also, I can't resist a mini palette - I have quite a few of them and just find them so handy! I'm not always great with too many shades in a palette and can get overwhelmed and not know how pair a bunch of shades together. Especially on the go or for work, I love a little palette that I know how the shades are going to go together!

Mask Wednesday - Sephora Collection Supermask "The Mud Mask" ~ Try on and Review!
Happy Mask Wednesday! How cool does a sheet mud mask sounds?! Seriously, there are days I want to use a mud mask; but, the thought of the clean up turns me right off of the idea! So, this seems like such an interesting solution!
Sephora Collection Supermask - The Mud Mask ~ $8.00 CAN. A two-part sheet mask that has been infused with a mineral mud formula to mattify, balance, and remineralize the skin.
This is a 15 minute mask that works to absorb oil, balance and remineralize skin for clearer and matte skin! Again, the idea of the benefits of a mud mask in a sheet mask sounds so cool!

Sephora VIB Rouge Sale Haul - Holiday Goodies and New Products!
Ooooh - I just love when it's time for the Sephora VIB Rouge sale! I didn't purchase anything from the extra sale in August, so my wish list was getting rather large for this sale!
There have been a lot of good releases and I have been trying to not buy everything - I actually think there is a lot of holiday items that I'm not getting this year; but, I always have to get a couple of things!

Custom Lipstick Experience - Posh Couture Cosmetics ~ Edmonton, Alberta
I'm so exited to share today's post! I have been so jealous watching people in places like Toronto and Los Angeles be able to go to Lip Labs and make their own custom lipsticks! There has been nothing like that anywhere near Alberta, until now!
Posh Couture Cosmetics is located in St. Albert, Alberta - just outside of Edmonton. I heard about Posh Couture a little while ago and have been waiting for a chance to pay them a visit!

Manicure Sunday - Remembrance Day Poppy Nails
Today is Remembrance Day in Canada, and this year is actually a very important Remembrance Day - this day marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
I always take today to reflect on where Canada is now and the fact that we are very lucky to live in Canada - there are countries around the world that don't have the same peace and security we do and many people still experiencing war right now. We are very lucky to live where we do and I try no to take that for granted.

Travel Post - Disneyland ~ Anaheim, California + tips for travelling with a big family and a baby under 1!
I'm always a little slow getting to writing my travel posts; but, I have been meaning to write this since we got back from Disneyland! I love Disneyland so much - it sounds so cheesy, but it is always so magical and fun!
So January of this year, we took a big family vacation to Los Angeles and Anaheim for a week! We went with our family of 4 that included a baby under one, my mom, my step-dad, my teenage brother and his service dog. Plus, we met my sister and her husband there too!

Lipsmacker Disney Emoji Lip Balms ~ Mickey & Cinderella
I hope you all have been enjoying Disney week! If you aren't caught up, I've been doing Disney inspired posts all week - Belle nails, Villains sheet masks, and the ColourPop Disney Designer collection!
How stinkin' cute are these little Disney Emoji lip balms?! Lipsmacker certainly knows how to nail cute packaging and scents! I've raved about the Lipsmacker lip balm formula as well - I always like the lip balms I try from them!

ColourPop Disney Designer Collection - Swatches, Try On, and Review!
I was super excited when ColourPop announced their Disney Designer collection! I want to be a Disney princess when I grow up, so I pretty much had to have this collection!
Also, I requested that my husband buy me this collection for my birthday, and since I turn 32 today, I figured I should review my birthday gift!
The Disney Designer collection are the Princesses reimagined in the attire for the red carpet for their movie premieres in the year their movies were released - Tiana in 2009, Ariel in 1989, Belle in 1991, Jasmine in 1992, Snow White in 1937, and Cinderella in 1950. They all look so gorgeous and the packaging is stunning! The Designer collection is a bigger collection from Disney and includes dolls and accessories of all these princesses!

Can we talk about Disney, without focusing on some villains during Disney week?! It just wouldn't seem right... and I could not wait to dive in to these masks when they arrived!
I saw a picture of these online somewhere and squealed, then dropped everything I was doing and rushed to the Mad Beauty site to buy all the masks!

Time to look at my monthly Makeup Garbage!
Quo by ORLY Instant Artist White Polish ~ $13.60 CAN. Bring out your inner creativity with Orly Instant Artist Crisp White Lacquer Based Nail Lacquer and take your designs to the next level.
This was a really good nail art polish, but why is it almost $14 now?! Also, where did nail art polishes go at the drugstore?! I've been to a few and can't find them so I might have to pay to get this one again!

October 2018 - Monthly Favorites!
Here's a look at what I've been loving for the month of October:
Makeup Revolution - Revolution x The Emily Edit "The Wants" Palette ~ $27.99 CAN. An eyeshadow palette you'll want to use everyday! Created and crafted with content creator Emily Noel, aka Beauty Broadcast, The Revolution x The Emily Edit - The Wants Eyeshadow Palette features 24 matte, satin and shimmer shades.
I had never tried anything from Makeup Revolution prior to Emily Noel creating this palette with them; but, I really wanted to support her and give this a try and I really like! I've done a full Palette of the Week post with this palette and 5 looks with this - you can check it out here! It's incredibly versatile and has a ton of colours that I don't own a lot of in my collection - greens, purples, etc. There was some mixed reviews on the formula; but, I really found it workable and easy to use. (I think it's currently being reformulated over other an issue with on or two shadows, but I know it will be back in stock soon!)

Five on Friday - November 2, 2018
Happy Friday everyone! Can you believe it is November already?! Seriously, where has this year gone!
ONE
Before we move on to November, I have to reflect on the best day of October - HALLOWEEN! This year the whole family was Ninja Turtles and I was so excited there is finally 4 of us for the whole gang to have a costume!
Elliott loved his Halloween costume and pretty much wore it all day! We went to the mall in the morning to play with his friend, had the grandparents stop by before nap and then wore it again for trick-or-treating! He was running around saying Turtle the whole time and was so cute! And, if you are interested in seeing how I did my makeup, you can check out my post here!

October 2018 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!
This I love these Haul posts; because, for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up throughout a month - honestly, I buy so much stuff that if I don't share it here, it might not pop up until my empties post!
Here is a look at everything I bought in October:
Miniso Haul ~ $16.75 CAN. When I heard that Minso was going to be carrying these Papa Recipe masks, I had to try them out - these have been on my wishlist forever! Then I couldn't resist the Miniso x Pink Panther mask (review up here!) and the Mediheal warming eye mask sounded neat too!
