I purchased this set myself - this post contains affiliate links
They brought back a favourite shade "Tutti Fruitti" from last year - you can see it swatched on my Sally Hansen x Jelly Belly post from last year, plus they released some cute new shades! And, how adorable is this Hop Into Spring set?! I was most interested in the Birthday Cake shade because it's this light shade with fun confetti in it! So, when I saw this little set that included a light pink shade, I had to pick it up!
This set is perfect for this week because we are leading up to Easter (we baked a ton of Easter treats this weekend to lure the Easter Bunny out to us next week) and for the month of April, the #CBBxManiMonday group is featuring pastel nails!
This little set together was $12.99 CAN and I found it at Shoppers Drug Mart, I don't see this set available online, but it is in stores (not that I'm suggesting to go out and by this at this time), and these are available for sale individually for $6.99 CAN each at Shoppers.
Birthday Cake ~ white base with multi-coloured funfetti pieces
Here is a look at the Jelly Belly + Sally Hansen Birthday Cake polish in two coats on me. I love this shade of polish because it is a white base, but it's not a super stark white, it's actually more on the pastelly white with some light blue, orange, and peach confetti specks in it!
Jewel Bubble Gum ~ metallic light pink
Here is a look at the Jelly Belly + Sally Hansen Jewel Bubble Gum shade in 2 coats on my nails. I'm a little unfamiliar with this polish formula; but, I found this metallic formula a little streaky on my nails. It's still a pretty shade though!
I'm actually really surprised that I haven't tried this formula in any other shades other than the Jelly Belly collabs - I would certainly be interested in trying it more, but I tend to stick to the Hard as Nails formula when I purchase from Sally Hansen! I just think these are so cute!
I hope you are all staying safe and staying home, but also staying positive! As always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love for their #CBBxManiMonday for their pastel nails!
I picked up Birthday Cake and I'm on the STRUGGLE to get it to look good. Your nails look amazing with it on though. I need to try again!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I got these formulas last year and thought they were on the thin side, so I was impressed with Birthday Cake this year! Sorry your's isn't working well!
DeleteThese both are so cute. I love the collab idea. How did you find them for drying time since they're supposed to be fast drying?
ReplyDeleteThanks! The drying time was okay - I find the Essie Expressie is bomb at drying quickly, but this one sort of just felt like average drying time really!
