Tom Ford Lip Color in True Coral - Makeup Look, Swatches and Thoughts

When Pantone announced their 2019 Color of the Year as "Living Coral" I was quite excited about it! I had so much fun thinking of coral looks (I love that colour family between orange and pink, and yes I will include peach in there because they are in the same range!)

March 2019 Monthly Favorites!

Here are the top 5 things I've been loving this month:

March 2019 Monthly Favorites!
Some products received as PR/free products - this post contains affiliate links

This month has such a perfect mix of products - a face mask, moisturizer, foundation, lipstick, and eyeshadow palette! I feel like some months I have such a wonky mix (like 3 palettes or 3 serums) and since I don't aim for any type of balance and just pick my favorites no matter what, I usually end up with a pretty random mix. So, it's so nice to see it look nice and balanced this month!

Wet n Wild Not A Basic Peach Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette - Swatches, Makeup Look and Review!

Have you ever been so excited for a makeup release that you pick it up as soon as you can find it in a store; but, then you just let it sit there all pretty for months (or in this case a whole year...) ... ya, I've done it with a couple of products and shockingly, this palette is one of them!

Wet n Wild Not A Basic Peach Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette - Swatches, Makeup Look and Review!

I was so excited last year when Wet n Wild revamped their 8 pan palettes last year with these new 10 pan palettes and this Not A Basic Peach one is so gorgeous! I'm so ashamed that is has sat in my collection since I picked it up last March; because, I have been really excited to use it, for some crazy reason I just haven't!

Manicure Monday - Eclectic Coral Stamped Floral Nails

Last week's nails were called Coral Floral nails and that's pretty much what I wanted to call this week's nails too, so I switched it up just a tiny bit so you know how creative and original I am around here...

We are sticking to the Coral theme this week for our #CBBxManiMonday round up - it is the Colour of the Year after all! I really wanted to up my stamping game, so I decided to stamp with shades of coral this week, and the little accents and polka dots give these nails a little eclectic look!

Happy Friday everyone! It's been a really busy week, so it's just flown by - I'm so happy it's the weekend already!

Certainly the funniest part of my week was a girl's night out with a couple of my besties! We are all big Bachelor fans, so we went and saw Kaitlyn Bristowe's Spring Break Tour for her podcast Off The Vine!

Mask Review - The OOZOO Bear Black Space Pore Caring Mask

Ah, my favorite post of the week is always trying and testing out new masks! And, you might know by now that I'm a total sucker for packaging and these Oozoo Bear masks are so adorable!

Mask Review - The OOZOO Bear Black Space Pore Caring Mask

Product received in a giveaway subscription service I won - the post contains affiliate links

The Oozoo Bear Black Space Pore Caring Mask ~ $4.00 US/$5.34 US. A pore tightening mask to burst the first agent, Oxyforce cellular active, which delivers oxygen and elasticity to the pores, right before use to be mixed with the second agent, hazel water, which regulates skin hydration and provides vitality to the skin. Black bamboo tight sheet is a plant-based mask containing bamboo extract firmly and softly tightens your pores through its soft touch and strong adhesion.

This mask's main goal is to tighten and reduce pores. I tend not to use pore masks too often, and usually reserve them for when my skin is feeling extra oily or break-out prone and I find that they are really helpful for me at that time!

Miniso We Bare Bears Moisturizing & Glossy Eyes Masks

You know I love all masks around here and I don't often talk about eye masks; but, I love them! So, when I found these adorable little We Bare Bears eye masks I couldn't resist!

Miniso We Bare Bears Moisturizing & Glossy Eyes Masks
Products purchased by me

It is made from silk fiber materials, light and delicate texture, with excellent replenishment property and comfort, bringing your eyes a natural protection.

Manicure Monday - Green Abstract Nail Art

Happy Manicure Monday! This week we are sticking to the "green" theme for St. Patrick's Day coming up, and I went for something a little different for the theme!

Skincare Sunday - Neutrogena Hydro Boost Multi-Vitamin Booster

Happy Skincare Sunday everyone! I have been incorporating a "booster" in to my routine since July 2017 when I tried the Vichy Mineral 89 Booster, and this is actually the first time I've tried a different brand since then and I was excited to try something different!

Skincare Sunday - Neutrogena Hydro Boost Multi-Vitamin Booster
Product won in a giveaway - this post contains affiliate links

I have basically switched my morning serum for a booster instead. While serums are amazing for the skin, and I still use one every night, I have really enjoyed the targeted moisture and quick absorbance of a booster in the morning. I use this after washing and toning my skin and before applying a moisturizer! You can also use it combined with a serum if you are using a targeted serum.

I have bought myself two Viseart Petite Pro mini palettes (and actually just ordered another!) as a way to try the brand because their palettes can be on the pricier side; but, I really do love their shadows and haven't indulged in a full size palette yet! I was very excited to receive the Golden Hour palette - the shadows are beautiful!

February 2019 - Monthly Empties & Month in Masks

Let's take a look at my beauty garbage:

February 2019 - Monthly Empties & Month in Masks
This post contains affiliate links

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in 2C3 Fresco ~ $50.00 CAN. A 24-hour liquid foundation with a flawless, natural, matte finish that unifies uneven skin tone and covers imperfections with buildable coverage.

I love this foundation - the wear is just fantastic. It is full coverage; but, doesn't feel heavy on the skin and wears all day. When I was running low on this, I started saving it for days where I had something to do or I just needed to know my base makeup would be reliable. This is so good; it made even made my favorites back in July 2017! This shade turned out to be a little too dark for me and it does oxidize a tiny bit, so when I repurchase, I just need to go a little lighter!
Repurchase: Yes!
