The BioSculpture polish was received as a PR sample
I've done abstract nails before; but, this was the first time I went in totally abstract and didn't have a plan - I came up with these as I was doing them and I'm really happy with how they turned out!
Plus, throughout the month of April, the #CBBxManiMonday group is featuring pastel nails, and I love the spin of the pastels with the abstract look!
The products that I used for this week's mani are:
- Bio Sculpture Gemini polish in "Pink Marshmallow"
- ColorClub neon yellow polish
- Essie polish in Full Swing
- Essie polish in Take The Lead
- Foil Nuggets in Gold
- Orly Instant Artist in Crisp White (not pictured)
- Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
- nail dotting tool
For this week's nails, I started with nail cleanser, base coat and two coats of pastel pink polish for the base. Then I swiped the blue nail polish in different spots on each nail, and painted on some spots and shapes with the peach polish. Then, I used the gold foils and placed foil bits on each nail. Then, I finished with a few white stripes and yellow dots on each nail and topped it off with top coat!
I was a little worried when I went in to doing these nails with no idea in mind, and just let the colours and shapes build with each other and I love how they turned out! The pink, peach, blue and yellow all look good together and they feel very Springy!
I hope you all have a great week! As always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love for their #CBBxManiMonday for their pastel nails!
Your creativity always surprise me, I loooove the gold flakes!
ReplyDeleteAh thank you! I was so worried the gold flakes were going to ruin the mani, but I love how it all turned out!
