Manicure Monday - Tie Dye Nails

Happy Mani Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend - I'm so happy to have a long weekend and I hope you all enjoyed your Easter, however you got to celebrate while staying home and safe!

Am I the only one who has noticed that tie dye all the sudden popped up everywhere on my social media?! It's actually kind of a cute trend - I like what I've seen on some people,; but, I'm sort of having early 90's flashbacks to tie-dying my own shirts in elementary school, so I'm not sure if I'm jumping back on the tie dye bandwagon with my clothes; but, I will jump on the trend with my nail art!

Plus, the tie dye popping up lately is much more pastel than the tie of the 90s, so that fits right in to the #CBBxManiMonday theme of "pastels" that we are featuring for the whole month of April!

The products that I used for this week's mani are:

For this week's manicure, I started with base coat and two coats of white polish as a base. Then, using a triangle makeup sponge, I painted the polishes on a palette, then dabbed the sponge into the polish and dabbed it on to the nails - one polish at a time: pink, purple, blue and yellow. Then, I finished the nails with a top coat.

I actually really love how these nails turned out - I was a little worried with the sponge and if it would actually look tie dye, but it looks like all the tie dye pants I've been saying lately so I'd say these turned out really good!

As always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love for their #CBBxManiMonday for their pastel nails!
