Happy Halloween everyone! I have been counting down days until Halloween and I have been so excited for our family Ninja Turtle costume - there is finally 4 of us for the full squad! I'm Donatello and I love purple so this works for me (although, every time I played Ninja Turtles as a kid I was always Raphael!)
I have been thinking about how I wanted to do this TNMT makeup for a while, and I thought a full face of green makeup might not be the best for a night of trick-or-treating with the litter guy, so I decided that a full glitter mask would work the best! I figured with the full Ninja Turtle hoodie, the mask is sufficient!
The countdown to Halloween is on - only 2 days to go! I'm keeping up the Halloween theme with my nail art all month and this week i'm doing Mummies!
I have been loving all the Halloween nails the few of us have been doing for #CBBxManiMonday and these are a fun way to wrap up the month (hahaha - I wrote that before I remembered I had Mummies on my nails - I'm keeping it, so pun intended!)

Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you all have had a great week! Mine has been crazy - my older son and I went to Penticton on Saturday to surprise my Dad for his 60th birthday, had a party and then came home on Sunday evening. Then, right after I got home, I left the next morning for 3 days in Edmonton for work! I got home late on Wednesday so Thursday and Friday were a total whirlwind! Ugh, I need a weekend!

Happy early birthday to me, to me! Eeek - I can't help but just gush over the packaging of this Colourpop x Disney Designer collection! I want to be a Disney Princess when I grow up so I basically had to have this and told my husband this would be the perfect early birthday present for me (my birthday is next month, so close enough!). I had to pull over minutes before this launched and I got the whole collection except the highlighters, as they sold out in minutes! I will be reviewing this soon!
These liquid lipsticks from Hank and Henry are brand new and are available tomorrow (October 19) on the brands website! I don't normally have access to products before their launch; but, these lipsticks actually came in some Boxycharm boxes last month!
Hank and Henry is a newer brand to me (and a newer brand in general) - it is created by Hank and Henry, who a youtuber/social media makeup artist. The brands products are all cruelty free and vegan and these lipsticks are paraben and gluten free.

This "I Dew Care" series is by Memebox, which is so interesting to me - Memebox used to be a K-beauty subscription that I was obsessed with until they stopped shipping to Canada and eventually stopped creating subscriptions overall.

It's been so long since I've done pink nails, and I really wanted to do a hot pink Halloween manicure - the white ghosts turned out perfect with the neon pink base colour! And, I have been loving the mini nail art, so the mini ghosts are perfect!

APTO is a new brand to me - I just received this in my last Ipsy bag, and love discovering new brands! There isn't much online about the brand; but, their products are vegan, cruelty free and plant based.

I just received the October Lookfantastic Beauty Box subscription in the mail - I have never subscribed to this before; but, was excited to try it out! This is a UK subscription but they ship a lot of places - the subscription is $25.00 CAN (less expensive the more months you subscribe are subscribed to).
This month for the Canadian Beauty Bloggers, we are highlighting K-Beauty brands as our Brand of the Month. It's no secret here that I love k-beauty products! The packaging of k-beauty products are so cute - just look at the wine lip tint!
Is this not the cutest lip tint you've ever seen?! I love wine and I love k-beauty, so it was pretty much a no brainer that this little gem was going to be in my collection!
I'm such a big fan of Emily Noel on youtube - she is just a true, authentic beauty lover who seems so genuine and honest in her videos! I always trust her thoughts and reviews to be real. She is super hard working and just brings a real positive energy to her videos!
So, when she announced that she was creating a palette with Makeup Revolution, I really wanted to support her. Also, I have never actually tried any makeup from Makeup Revolution as it hasn't really called to me before; but, Emily talks about it a fair bit so it seems like a good collaboration!
Happy week #2 of Halloween nails! This week's Halloween nail art look is Black Cats! The inspiration was taken from my own Halloween kitty - Mephisto (short for Mephistopheles). My husband is a little geeky and named him after the Lord of Hatred from Diablo; but, it's also a historic demon name, thus I have demon black kitty nails for this week!
Shockingly, the Lord of Hatred could give a shit that I made my nails to look like him, or that this photo would look much better if he would just look at the camera!

If this brush looks familiar, it's because I just talked about it in My First Sephora Orders post - I bought this over 4 years ago and it is just as good as the day I bought it! Writing that post reminded me that there is probably only a handful of days in over 4 years that I haven't used this brush. It is a must-have for me! It is so fluffy and just applies any powder really nicely all over. Sadly, this is discontinued now, so this better last me years and years longer; because, I don't know what I will do when this is done!

Time for another Topbox circle! My latest one is the Nivea Nourishing Care Cream and I received a couple little sample pods for the box. These are actually a cute little size to carry around somewhere and the lotion itself was good!
I love these Haul posts; because, for me it's a way of sharing everything I pick up throughout a month - honestly, I buy so much stuff that if I don't share it here, it might not pop up until my empties post! Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! I can go a little crazy sometimes with new things though - why is there so much new makeup being released all the time?! I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!
For September I actually put myself on a "no-buy" because I spent a crazy amount over the Summer so I'm trying to calm down!

Makeup Facebook Find ~ $12.00 CAN. Okay, so I cancelled my Boxycharm subscription and then I saw crazy good reviews about the Hank and Henry liquid lipstick and it's not released until October! So I picked this up on a Boxycharm group and $12 seemed like a good deal!
For some reason, Wet n Wild's collection boxes have totally sucked me in - I have picked up the whole set for the Unicorn, Hummingbird and now the Fire & Ice Dragon collection! They are an affordable, cruelty free brand and I love what they have been releasing lately!
How could I resist this?! I happen to love Game of Thrones and I think this collection is totally inspired by the dragons in the series and I'm all about that inspiration! I'm having GoT withdrawals with no new books or tv shows, so I will take an inspired makeup collection! If your a fan wait til you see the names!
