Happy Manicure Tuesday! I thought this week I would share a fun, shiny polish - I'm loving the super glittery/holographic polishes that are trendy right now!
How pretty is this polish?! I love it! This is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polish in "Golden-I" and I would describe it as a bronzey rose-gold shimmery polish! (I'm not meant to be a colour describer!)

January 2017 - Monthly Favorites!
Here is a look at the products that I have been loving in January!
Vintage - Illuminating Face Highlighter in "Rose Gold" ~ $32.00. Add a beautiful wash of color and subtle, sexy shimmer with the Illuminating Face Highlighter. Created to be worn alone or as a beautiful highlight over pretty blush – the reflective pearls add radiance on contact, adding a delicate glow and diamond-like finish to the skin.
I received this highlighter in a past Boxycharm and I was actually unsure if a Rose Gold highlighter would work well with my complexion - I absolutely LOVE this highlighter! It gives an amazing finish and the colour is actually stunning!

Skincare Sunday - Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner
I'm a sucker for pretty much anything pink... if my blog name didn't make it obvious enough! Enter Lush with the most amazing Christmas scent ever - Snow Fairy! I have been loving the Snow Fairy Shower Gel for the last few years and I was so exited this past Christmas season when the scent was in a lotion too!!!
Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner ~ $12.95 for 90g. The land that Snow Fairy hails from has been very generous this year, bestowing upon us the gift of a body conditioner to soften your skin and leave it smelling like candy. Made with a fruity cherry infusion, hydrating mango and avocado butters and moisturizing fair trade organic cocoa butter, a sweep of this on the skin will banish the dryness that winter sometimes brings.
I am sorry to say that this product is limited edition and isn't available online, but check your local Lush and they may have some leftover Christmas stock still!

January 2017 In8Beauty - New Canadian Mask Subscription Unboxing and Review
I love new subscription boxes - especially Canadian subscriptions!!!! In8Beauty is a new sheet mask subscription service started right here in Alberta, Canada!
The thought behind In8Beauty Mask Subscription is "In8Beauty was created to make foreign beauty products (and especially Korean face mask sheets) affordable and accessible to our friends and neighbors across the country. And with so many face mask sheets to choose from what better way to sample them then through a monthly curated subscription box."
In8Beauty is $18 CAN a month + $8 shipping all over Canada. Each month you receive 5 masks delivered at the beginning of the month! (Also, if you are just interested in a one time purchase, not a subscription you can buy 1 month for $20 + shipping)
Full disclosure here - I won a year subscription to In8Beauty back in an Instagram contest so I have received this at no cost. This is not sponsored in any way and I am choosing to share this subscription because I am excited to see a new Canadian subscription like this!
Here is a look at the January In8Beauty Box:
I love the variety of the 5 masks and there is 2 especially that I am really excited about!

Five on Friday - January 27, 2017
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a great week! My son turned 12 this week and it was really hard for me to believe - he is such a great boy and I couldn't be more proud of him, but some days I wish I could slow down the clock a little because next year he will be a teenager! Whoa!
ONE
Last month I bought a little surprise pouch from an amazing blogger as she was clearing out some of her beauty products that didn't work for her! I ended up with a high end lipstick, a highlighter, a gorgeous ombre blush and a few extra lip goodies!

Too Faced Sweet Peach "Papa Don't Peach Blush" - Swatches and Review!
I'm a little late getting to my reviews on the Sweet Peach goodies - the whole Too Faced Sweet Peach collection was released mid-December! I ordered these right away, but got them just before Christmas and my Hawaiian vacation so I have not had a chance to dig in to them!
The whole Too Faced Sweet Peach collection smells like peaches! This Sweet Peach line originally started with the Sweet Peach palette which was released back in March 2016 - you can see my full review on that palette here!
Too Faced has now expanded the line to include a blush, face palette, and lipglosses - I happened to grab a little of everything and will be sharing my reviews!

Manicure Monday - Galaxy Nail Art Tutorial!
Happy Monday everyone! This week I had a little extra time to do some nail art - Galaxy Nail Art!
I have been admiring Galaxy nails and have been wanting to do my own! They were actually easier than I thought - the most involved part of the nail art is using a makeup sponge!

Five on Friday - January 20, 2017
Happy Friday everyone! This was my first week back to work so it felt like a long week! I am looking forward to the weekend!
I just updated my first 5 books of 2017 that I have read, so check out my books page or follow my instagram as I always post my reviews there too (along with everything else!)
ONE
How cute is this Champagne Shimmer Bath Bomb from Charmed Aroma?! These come with little jewelry gifts inside of them (they make candles like this too!)
I got this as a gift this week and I am really excited to use this - obviously I a bit of a bath bomb addict!

January 2017 Boxycharm - Unboxing and Review
Boxycharm is a beauty subscription box for $21.00 a month + $5.00 shipping to Canada (shipping is free to the U.S.) Boxycharm sends 4 to 5 full size and luxury size beauty items.
This subscription focuses heavily on make-up items - so that is something to keep in mind! (I personally love all the makeup though and they have sent full size palettes in the past!) While it is a little pricier than the inexpensive beauty boxes, the majority of the products are full size!
Every subscriber generally receives the same products, but their is usually 1 or 2 items that have a few variations, so our boxes may not be identical!
Here is a look at my January Boxycharm:
This month's theme is "And The Charm Awards Goes To..." - Boxycharm always includes a detailed product card explaining the items that were included in each month's subscription.

Mask Wednesday - Dr. Jart Dermask Water Jet Soothing Hydra Solution
Happy Mask Wednesday - i'm really hoping to keep up on these posts so I stay on track with my masking!
Dr. Jart Dermask Water Jet Soothing Hydra Solution ~ $7.50 CAN. A cellulose sheet mask that hydrates, soothes, and calms the sensitive irritation of the dehydrated skin.
Dr. Jart is a k-beauty brand that is really becoming mainstream - these masks and a lot of their other products are found at Sephora now! I love seeing k-beauty brands more accessible to everyone!

Covergirl So Lashy! Mascara and Intensify Me! Eyeliner - Review and Swatches!
I did receive these products as part of a BzzAgent campaign, but a blog post was not part of the campaign process. I did still think it was important to put up a review because these are newer products and you may be interested in checking them out yourself!
I received the Intensify Me! liquid liner in Sapphire and the So Lashy! Mascara in Extreme black!

Manicure Monday - Colour of the Year "Greenery" Nails!
So this week I have decided to be the crazy Mom at basketball and paint my nails while the boys run around the gym so that I don't have to wait until Manicure Tuesday to paint them!
I really wanted my first nail look of the year to focus on the 2017 Pantone Colour of the Year - Greenery!
This colour feels really bright to me as a Winter nail look - but I decided to keep the nail art simple and focus mainly on the colour itself (although my husband told me that these look like marijuana leaves, but I was absolutely going for a multi-color starburst look!)
