I haven't done any holiday nail art yet this year, and I love candy cane nails, so I thought that it would be fun to do little mini candy cane art on my nails!
The whole #CBBxManiMonday crew is carry on this week with our holiday nails that we are featuring for the whole month of December!
How cute are these little mini candy canes?! I love how these turned out and I thought over the gold background would add to the festive vibe of the nails!
The products I used for this week's mani are:
- BMC (Maniology) nail art polish in Scarlet
- Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Golden-I
- Orly Instant Artist Lacquer in Crisp White
To create this mani look I started with a nail cleanser and base coat. Then, I applied two coats of a shimmery gold polish as a base (one coat would have been okay but I wanted it nice and opaque). Then using the white nail art polish, I create the little candy cane shape on my nails - two or three per nail. Then, using the red nail art polish, I painted little red stripes across the white polish to create candy cane stripes. Then I let it dry and applied top coat.
I think these are super fun - perfect for the countdown to Christmas! Now, it's time to eat one of my candy cane props!
As always, make sure you check out the other #CBBxManiMonday manis - Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love, and Tea & Nail Polish to see their Christmas or holiday nails too!
I love your candy canes!!! Such a good idea for nail art, and so Christmas-y too!
