Five on Saturday - December 7, 2019

Happy weekend everyone! Hope you all had a great week - I'm almost done my Christmas shopping and feeling pretty good about! Just a few little stocking stuffers left. 

ONE

It's time for a look at my December Monthly Makeup Basket! Each month I've been picking a few different face products to focus on for the month! I'm really trying to focus this year on using and enjoying my whole makeup collection! 

For December, the products I'm focusing on are:

• Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection ~ this is the follow up collection from Champagne Pop and this was released in June 2016 (you can see my original post here) and I don't use this as often as I would like to, so it's time to get more use out of it this month! 
• Buxom Wanderlust Primer-Infused Blush in Ibiza ~ this is a newer blush in my collection and earlier this year, this formula was really hyped up! So far so good, but it's quite pink on me and very pigmented. 
• Cover FX Enhance Click Highlighter Stick in Blossom ~ stick highlighters are not something I find myself reaching for with highlighters, even though when I do where them, they look lovely on the cheeks! This one is a really pretty, so I'm hoping I can use this more! 
• ColourPop Coronation Pressed Powder Highlighter ~ this is a new highlighter in my collection and it's so pretty! This ColourPop face products are newer to me, so I'm excited to really see how the formula is! 
• ColourPop Disney Designer Enchanted Mirror Pressed Powder Blush ~ this is from the same collection as the Aurora highlighter, so same thing I really want to see how this formula is! 

I'm excited to play with all of these tonight! 

TWO 

We are all decorated for Christmas! I love getting decked out for the holidays - we picked up our real tree and got all the decorations up and everything looks so good! I love listening to classic Christmas music and hanging ornaments on the tree with the family! 

THREE 

One of the only things I picked up for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and that was a few things from Aritzia! I picked up another pair of the Tna Speed Jogger pants (this time in red - I have these in navy and black and I'm obsessed with them!) And, I picked up 3 of the The Group by Babaton Foundation Knot Tee because I love the fit of these and they were $10 off each, so I got it in Rust, Camille and White! 

FOUR 

Pantone released their 2020 Color of the Year as Classic Blue ~ Instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.

I do love the reason behind the colour choice - I personally don't use a lot of blue in beauty, clothing, decor or anything! But, I'm looking forward to seeing if I can incorporate it in to anything! 

FIVE 

Here is a quick look at my November declutter - I got rid of a couple of subscription box items that just didn't work for me: Cover FX Glitter Drops, Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin palette and just some products that didn't work for me - Dose of Colors lipstick, Wet n Wild trio, Vichy highlighter and a couple of nail polishes that I have similar shades to. 

I hope you all have a great weekend! We have a work party and a girl's Christmas dinner this weekend, so it will be busy but fun!
