Mask Wednesday - Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio ~ Sugar Kitten, Disco Kitten and Space Kitten Masks

Happy Mask Wednesday! I am so excited for this mini mask set - I have been lusting after this Disco Kitten mask for months...

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio

This "I Dew Care" series is by Memebox, which is so interesting to me - Memebox used to be a K-beauty subscription that I was obsessed with until they stopped shipping to Canada and eventually stopped creating subscriptions overall.

They switched to creating their own brands - I Dew Care, Nooni and Pony Effect - these masks were the first products I've tried from the brand since they have switched over! Memebox is an American based company that is expanding the k-beauty craze globally.

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio ~ $19.00 US. I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio allows you to mix and mask, creating a personalized routine to target your specific skin concerns. Space Kitten, a sparkling black mask, exfoliates. Sugar Kitten, a transformative color-changing mask, hydrates. Disco Kitten, a chrome, brings back your glow. Use one at a time or apply multiple masks to targeted areas.

So, I really went to get the Disco Kitten mask; but, when I saw this set of three minis, I had to try it instead! I love mini masks as I use so many masks that I can find it hard to get through a full sized mask. Plus, Sugar Kitten and Space Kitten really sounded like I needed to try them too.

These masks all retail for $23.00 full sized, and these sample sizes are worth approximately $3 - $4 based on how much product is in them, so $19 for all 3 might be a little over priced. Now, I will say that I like the convenience of having these 3 different masks available in smaller sizes, as I like to try more products. So, I would still say the price is worth it if you would rather try all 3 than have a full size of 1. This size is good for about 2 full face applications, maybe 3 if you really stretch it out.

It's no secret here that I'm a total sucker for fun masks - but really; I fully support the idea that skincare does not need to be boring! The funner the masks are, the more tempted I am to use them! And, I really fell off the masking bandwagon for a little while, and am making a conscious effort to get back in to it, so I'm pulling out allll my fun masks to use!

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio Disco Kitten Mask

I Dew Care Disco Kitten MaskPaint it on and peel it off to reveal your brightest, clearest complexion! This shimmering I DEW Care Disco Kitten Mask from MEMEBOX is definitely out of this world. 20 minutes is all you need with this techy, peel-off mask to pamper your face with the queen of all royal treatments.

This masks uses pearl powder to exfoliate and brighten, diamond powder to remove impurities and illuminate, rice brand extract to deliver vitamins and oat as an antioxidant, with a few flower extracts to smooth and soften the skin. Is diamond powder a thing?! I mean it sounds fancy, so why not?

This is a peel off mask - to use: wash face, tone skin, apply an even layer all over the face (best applied with a mini spatula or mask brush), leave on for 20 minutes or until it is full dry, once mask is dry, peel off from the edges.

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio Disco Kitten Mask

Do I look like a Disco Kitten in this?! The silver mask is so fun and shiny. The mask itself has quite a strong scent - it's floral, but a little chemically too. Overall, this mask was okay. It was fun to wear, dried down well and was easy to remove from the skin - it didn't hurt peeling off. My skin looked good after and still looked nice the next morning; but, nothing amazing - just okay.

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio Sugar Kitten Mask

I Dew Care Sugar Kitten MaskSweeten up your complexion with Memebox's Sugar Kitten Mask. A peel-off mask infused with real ruby and pearl powder starts out a shimmering iridescent emerald color then transforms into a soft holographic pink upon application. Rose water and hyaluronic acid work together to hydrate and revitalize dry skin for that dewy-looking, post-facial glow.

This mask has rose water to boost elasticity and calm skin, pearl and ruby powder to brighten the skin, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and moisturize. How fun does a "Hydrating Holographic" mask sound?! Also, have you ever heard of a peel off mask being hydrating too?

This mask can be used all over the face or you can spot treatment on dry patches. It is used the exact same way as the Disco Kitten mask!

This holographic mask was really cool looking - it was hard to capture in a photo because it shifted from white to pink to purple to green! So fun! And, this mask actually smells good to me - it's a little rosy and I liked it! And, this was easy to use and peel off - it was really gentle on the skin. And, seriously, this was surprisingly hydrating for a peel off mask! I was not expecting my skin to be so soft and moisturized - I really liked this!

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio Space Kitten Mask

I Dew Care Space KittenConnect with your inner space goddess with Memebox's Space Kitten Mask. A charcoal, topaz, and diamond powder infused peel-off mask shimmers with royal blue glitter for an out-of-this-world galactic black look. Volcanic ash and witch hazel team up to exfoliate skin, absorb impurities and control sebum, revealing a noticeably brighter complexion.

This mask uses charcoal to target impurities, topaz powder to brighten and witch hazel to cleanse pores. This mask is meant to target the t-zone and pull out impurities (similar to a nose strip).

This mask is used just like Disco and Sugar Kitten in terms of use; but, it is meant to only be used on targeted areas such as the t-zone (I also used it on the chin as I tend to have lots of breakouts there as well).

Memebox I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio Space Kitten Mask

So, I have been really lucky with peel off masks in that I have never encountered one of those painful to remove masks - until now! This was the most painful mask to remove that I have ever used. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I was crying as I had to remove this and it felt like it pulled out every piece of peach fuzz too. And, at the end of the most painful removal process, it didn't really deliver any noticeable results. Bummer for me!

Overall, this was a fun little mask trio to try! My favorite is the Sugar Kitten - I loved the look of it and it delivered on the results. A fun way to hydrate the skin and look awesome while you do it! The Disco Kitten mask was okay - my skin looked good and I liked it. It wasn't the most amazing results; but, it worked! And, sadly the Space Kitten was just not for me!
