Milani Color Fetish Hydrating Stain in Mahogany Mami

I have heard rave reviews about this Milani lip stain, so I had to try this product! I haven't tried much from Milani, but coloured me intrigued!

This is a stain type product - so it goes on with a cushiony applicator that it goes on shiny and then it dries down to a semi-matte finish on the lips! I don't wear a ton of stains, but I love the idea of the hint staying on the lips as the product wears off.

Last year I started just picking any number of products I'm loving, instead of trying to find 5 each month (which I did previously!) So, whatever number of products I'm loving, that's what I will be sharing. 

I've been slower at using and trying out new products, so naturally my Favourites have been on the smaller side lately (and I'm totally fine with that) - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:

Monthly Beauty and Book Haul - April 2023

Last year I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I really stuck to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year!

Sephora Order ~ $70.35 CAN. I only made a small order during the Sephora sale - I really wanted to try out the Rare Beauty Lip Oil (full review post here) as well as a couple of Glossier products (also reviewed in a full post here!) I also grabbed a Sephora Collection velour puff that I've been using lately. The samples were the Tom Ford primer and the Amika shampoo and conditioner. 

Finally Trying Glossier - Ultralip High Shine Lipstick with Hyaluronic Acid & Cloud Paint Gel Cream Blush

I have been wanting to try Glossier for years, but for some reason (shipping/exchange rate) I never ordered from them. But, they just recently came in to Sephora Canada and so I waited for the VIB sale to pick up a few things and give them a try!

Glossier was started in 2014 with this adorable millennium pink minimalist vibe - it was one of the original brands going for that light, dewy, no-makeup makeup look. I know they've been updating their formulas to meet the "clean at Sephora" or vegan standards, I can't compare any new and old formulas, so I'm going in to this totally fresh just trying these products for the first time!
