This should come as no surprise to anyone here because I've been featuring these shimmery shadows all year long! I have personally gone a little crazy trying all the shimmer shadows I could get my hands on and I've really loved most of the formulas that I've tried!
And, I think I can justify all the formulas because they are all a little different. Some are full on glitter and some are more shimmery! Then, there are varying levels of opacity in all the formulas, so I like using them all - some are full on full coverage glitter and others and just pretty topper shadows.
But, the real reason I love these shadows is that they are so easy to use! They are the best to apply over just a quick eye look to add a big wow to the eyes! Boom - so easy, completed shimmery eye! I love it!
I love the variety of formulas - liquidy, creamy and there is even one pressed one in there because it's so damn good! I also love that there is a good price range and I love formulas both from the drugstore and higher end shadows!
The formulas that I've really loved that I tried this year come from a variety of brands! I did a recap post of some drugstore shadows - the Covergirl and Revlon shadows were featured on there! I also have posts on the other drugstore shadows here - Hard Candy Glitteratzi, Essence Metal Shock, Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow, and Revlon Cream Shadows.
I also love my high-end shadows - I did a recap post that included the Dior, Hourglass, Marc Jacobs, Pat McGrath Labs and Natasha Denona shadows. And, I did another post on the Too Faced Crystal Whips shadow.
I absolutely love these shadows and these were featured most months in my Monthly Favourites all year! I love these formulas!
If you were to recommend only two of these shadows, which would they be?
ReplyDeleteI will pick a high end and low end - the Covergirl one and the Hourglass one!
