All through the month of May, our CBBxManiMonday group is featuring floral nails! You know, April showers bring May flowers - Calgary doesn't normally listen to this idea; but, everywhere else generally does!
Either way, I love the theme because I love florals and I especially love floral nails - they are my favourite!
I've done some daisy nail art a few years ago and have been wanting to do more ever since! I've picked this super pretty peach backdrop and I really love the daisies with the peach!
For this manicure, I used:
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Giant Peach
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in White On
- ColorClub polish in yellow
- Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
- Formula X nail cleanser and base coat
- nail dotting tool
For the nail look, I started with nail cleanser, base coat and 2 coats of peach polish as the base. Then, using the white polish and dotting tool, I dotted the white petals on and dragged them towards a centre to create petals. I added them all over the nails and did some partial flowers too. Then, using the dotting tool and yellow polish to create the centre of the daisies! And, I added a couple yellow dots around the nails just to fill in some dead space and voila - a field of daisies on my nails!
As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love, and Tea & Nail Polish to see what they came up with for their floral nails this week!
