Skincare Sunday #CBBGetsSheetFaced Week Three Recap with Reviews - Etude House, Innisfree, Kocostar, Leaders, Maskingdom, Sallys Box, and Sexylook

Happy Skincare Sunday everyone! The whole month of February, Jayne from Cosmetic Proof and Chantal from Chantal's Corner and I are teaming up to use 28 masks in February and we are calling it #CBBGetsSheetFaced (which is hilarious!!!). Each week we have a different theme, and this week's theme is Flower masks! I've been loving doing this all month and these posts are a lot of fun!

Skincare Sunday #CBBGetsSheetFaced Week Three Recap with Reviews - Etude House, Innisfree, Kocostar, Leaders, Maskingdom, Sallys Box, and Sexylook

We are all planning on posting weekly recaps with our masks (mine will be Skincare Sundays); but, we are sharing our masks each night on our instagram stories, so you should follow along! (And, check out the hashtag as we have lots of other fellow CBBers jumping in sporadically throughout the month!)
If you've noticed more recently around here, I am making a big effort to use up the products that I have and the first 2 weeks I was really lucky to use only masks from my collection. This week 3 of the 7 masks were shopped from my collection and I had to pick up a couple new ones for the flower theme!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Kocostar Rose Mask

Kocostar Rose Petals Face Mask ~ $5.00 CAN. Whether placed on your face, arms or neck, each petal will pamper skin with a boost of botanically rich ingredients, with moss and centifolia rose extracts working to soothe and smooth irritated skin.

I've tried another Kocostar mask before - a cucumber one and they are these little individual "slices" for masks it's super cute. And, I love that this one is rose, no better way to start flower week than this! I also love rose products in my skincare routine, I find it super soothing and calming on the face!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Kocostar Rose Mask

The mask packaging is so unassuming in the front, and it's so pretty when you flip it over! This mask is fun to use: wash face, tone skin, place petals all over the face or body, wear for 10 to 20 minutes and massage remaining essence in to skin.

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Kocostar Rose Mask

How fun is this mask?! The little petals all over the face are adorable - the apply and adhere really nicely to the face and they come in 2 different sizes. They smelled amazing, really gently of roses and they lasted for about 20 minutes (one or two may have fell off early). I thought over all, these were really gentle and soothing on the skin! And so fun, I really want to pick up more!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Etude House Lotus Mask

Etude House 0.2 mm Therapy Air Mask - Lotus ~ $1.75 CAN. Moisturizes skin for a refreshed complexion.

This is an Etude House 0.2 mm mask with a "water type" essence that is meant to sooth and purify the skin. I tried one of these masks last week that was Manuka Honey and really enjoyed it!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Etude House Lotus Mask

This mask is easy to wear: Wash face, tone skin, apply mask to face, wear for 10 to 20 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin.

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Etude House Lotus Mask

This was a super thin and really great to wear - it fit and adhered well to the face! It had a lot of essence and actually wore close to 30 minutes. It was really soothing and lovely to wear and my skin felt soft and smooth after! I really liked these masks and want to pick up different types of the Etude House 0.2 mm masks!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Maskingdom Mask

Maskingdom Chinese Medi Peony & Angelica Mask ~ $7.00 CAN. The white peony is used in one of the oldest remedies in traditional Chinese medicine. Their roots are cultivated for their reparative and anti-inflammatory properties to care for injuries to the body. Formulated with Angelica root, a herb to detoxify and cleanse the body, this mask helps to restore and repair damaged, stressed, and aging skin.

This mask is said to be for all skin types and works to restore a youthful complexion and strengthen the skin's natural barrier. I've tried a couple different Maskingdom masks before and liked them, so I was excited to try a new one for this week! This mask is a Taiwanese brand and is made of a Japanese silk.

This mask is easy to use: wash face, tone skin, apply mask, wear for 15-20 minutes, remove mask and massage remaining essence in to skin.

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Maskingdom

This mask fit huge - it took a ton of folding and smoothing to get this to fit decent. It wasn't the easiest mask to wear. But, it had a ton of essence and I wore it for almost an hour! It made my face super hydrated and clear after wearing this! I did really like wearing it, despite the fit!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Sally's Box Mask

Sally's Box Secret Garden Camellia Oil Ampoule Mask - Wedding Invitation ~ $?

This is an older mask in my collection and it looks like they are discontinued now. This is a 2 step mask and comes with a really an ampoule to apply first before the mask. The packaging of this mask is so adorable, I love it!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Sally's Box Mask

This mask is a 2-stepper, so start with washing face and toning skin, apply Step 1 Ampoule to the face, then immediately apply Step 2 Mask and wear for 10-20 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin.

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Sally's Box Mask

The first step of the mask was a creamy essence and there was a lot to apply. The mask fit amazingly well and lasted 30 minutes. My skin looked and felt amazing after wearing this - I'm a little bummed that these are discontinued now. This was really good!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Sexylook Mask
Sexylook Intensive Repairing Cotton Black Mask ~ $2.60 CAN. This black cotton sheet mask is saturated in essence enriched with natto extract and hyaluronic acid to restore resilience and elasticity to the skin. Rich in amino acids, this mask helps strengthen the moisture barrier.

I have tried a few Sexylook masks before and really liked them - this one has flowers on the front, so it fits the theme right?! Intensive repairing sounds good for me!

This doesn't come with any directions that I can actually read, so I'm going to assume it's a rather typical sheet mask to wear!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Sexylook Mask

First of all, please ignore my terrible red eye - I had a mishap with hydrogen peroxide contact solution and it was rather painful! Back to the mask, this was an absolute delight to wear. It fits amazing on the face and is very saturated in essence. It lasted almost an hour with essence left over to massage in! This left my face so hydrated and moisturized - it was so gentle and soothing on the face!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Innisfree Rose Mask

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Mask - Rose ~ $1.75 CAN. Moisture from fragrant roses leaves skin smooth and radiant.

Innisfree was one of the first types of masks that I tried, and I liked them! This one smelled liked roses and I love a gentle rose scent in my skincare! This has a water type essence and is good for smoothing the skin!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Innisfree Rose Mask

This mask is easy to use - wash face, tone skin, apply mask and wear for 10 - 20 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin.

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Innisfree Rose Mask

This mask fit quite big; but, had a decent amount of essence. It also had a really light rose scent and wore for over 20 minutes. It was nice and soothing on the skin and overall, pretty good!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Leaders 7 Wonders Mask

Leaders 7 Wonders Mask - Himalayan Camellia Pore Minimizing Mask ~ $6.00 CAN. Camellia seed oil reduces the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

I happened across this mask in Anthropology and I tried another type of this mask last month and loved it! It was a super thin hydrogel and it was amazing to wear! This one sounds like it will be great too!

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Leaders 7 Wonders Mask

This mask is just like most masks to wear - wash face, tone skin, apply mask, wear for 20 - 25 mins, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin. (This mask also comes inside 2 protective layers, so keep that in mind when you go to wear it!)

#CBBGetsSheetFaced Leaders 7 Wonders Mask

These masks are potentially the thinnest masks I've ever worn and it fits like a glove! It adhered well, was my favorite bio-cellulose material to wear and lasted about 30 minutes. My skin felt so hydrated and look clear and smooth the next morning! I'm really liking these masks and will be picking more up to try!

Have you guys tried any of these masks?! I loved using flower masks all week and am even more excited for our last week of the month!

  1. So many fun masks! I had the coconut version of the Innisfree mask and it barely smelled of coconut, I was bummed about that. :-(
I also used a different one from Sexylook (which you saw in week 1) and really liked it too. I'll probably try more from that line (the cotton line, the other one I tried I did not like).

    1. Oh yes, coconut scented would be so good for a mask - I guess some people would complain if the scent was too strong! I'm really in to the Sexylook masks, I picked up another too not from the cotton line so I'm curious how it will be!
