I wanted to try play with new techniques and I'm just getting in to cut crease looks, so I wanted to make it pink and add a little fun!
Personally, I actually don't do a lot to celebrate Valentine's Day - I enjoy the heart shaped pizzas that come out for the occasions and cute products. I actually enjoy the goodies and blogging about the holiday, more than I do celebrating the actual holiday!
Everything I used in this look is shopped from my stash and I've tried everything before, which is so fun to dig around in to older products and really love them again!
I'm loving the pink smoky eye look and love the accent of the glitter in there too. I don't think I've ever done a cut crease look on here before, and I love how this turned out! It's fun a pink and so perfect to wear for a Valentine's date night out - or any time you want!
The products I used for this Valentine's Day look are:
Eyes
-Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
-ColourPop It's a Princess Thing Pressed Powder Shadow Palette
-Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette
-ColourPop Single Shadow - Come and Get It Pressed Powder Shadow
-LIT Cosmetics Glitter in Cotton Candy (no longer available - ABBA Size 3 looks closest) & Lit Cosmetics Glitter Base
-Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
-Covergirl Exhibitionist Mascara
-Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil in 4
-ColourPop Brow Boss Gel in Clear
-ColourPop No Filter Matte Concealer in Light 14 (for cutting the crease)
Face
-Estee Lauder The Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer
-Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation in Vanilla
-Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Medium Light Neutral
-BareMinerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo
-Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium/Deep
-Burt's Bees Blush in "Shy Pink"
-Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Rosé Glow
-Mac Prep and Prime Fix+
Lips
-LASplash Studio Shine Waterproof Lip Lustre Matte in Aurora
-Nars Lip Gloss in Orgasm
For the eye look I started with the Lorac primer and I used Chip from the ColourPop princess palette as the base. For a transition shade, I used Buon Fresco from the Modern Renaissance and then made it a little more pink with Juju from the Princess palette. Then I deepened up the outer corner and full crease with Love Letter from Modern Renaissance (that beautiful pink shade).
Then using the ColourPop concealer I cut the crease and filled in with the single shadow - Come and Get It. I patted a little Enchanted Rose on the outer lid. Then using the Lit Cosmetics glitter base and Cotton Candy glitter, I created a little line of glitter just above where I cut the crease. I used a little Juju on the lower lash line. To finish the eye look I used the Stila Stay All Day liner, Covergirl Exhibitionist mascara. Then I finished the brows with the Benefit, Precisely My Brow and ColourPop Brow Gel.
For the face, I started with the Estee Lauder primer, then applied the Too Faced Just Peachy Matte foundation and Urban Decay concealer with my beauty blender. Then using the BareMinerals powder, I used the matte powder to set under my eyes and the glow powder over the rest of my face. I applied the Too Faced Bronzer around my hairline and warmed up the face, then I applied the Burt's Bees blush to the cheeks and the Becca Rose Glow highlighter to the cheekbones. To finish the look, I applied the LASplash lipstick in Aurora and topped it with the Nars Orgasm lip gloss.
Are you rocking a pink look for Valentine's Day this year?
