We are all planning on posting weekly recaps with our masks (mine will be Skincare Sundays); but, we are sharing our masks each night on our instagram stories, so you should follow along! (And, check out the hashtag as we have lots of other fellow CBBers jumping in sporadically throughout the month!)
Also, if you've noticed more recently around here I am making a big effort to use up the products that I have, so every mask I'm using this week is shopped from my stash - I didn't have to pick up anything new to get through a whole week of food masks, which is really exciting to help me get through my huge mask collection!
TheFaceShop Real Nature Lingzhi ~ $3.00 CAN. The mask sheet drenched with emulsified moisturizing serum with Lingzhi Extract firms and helps improve the resilience of sagging skin.
Lingzhi is a type of weird looking mushrooms; but, the extract is supposed to be good for the skin! I've tried lots of TheFaceShop Real Nature masks (and I used a few during this food week), and they are usually good, affordable masks!
This mask is basic to use - wash face, tone skin, apply mask, wear for 10 - 15 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin.
This mask fit huge as all The Face Shop Real Nature masks do on me - this mask came with a whole handful of extra essence; but, the essence was brown which was a little off-putting (I realize it's from the mushrooms or ingredients, it was just a little weird looking). This wore for about 15 minutes and was fine. My skin looked nice and healthy after.
Hiddencos Americano Mask ~ $15.98 US for 10 masks. Contains a Premium Arabica coffee extract from Columbia. It is rich in moisturizing and nourishing effect for the tired and dry skin with polluted external environment. It is vital and brightly managed. With Green tea extract and Portulaca extract and other various natural ingredients to make your skin soft to moisturize to relax your skin.
Coffee counts as food right?! Food and drink week works for me! I have talked about this mask quite a while ago and I loved it - it even made my September 2017 Monthly Favorites! It smells delightful - like caramel coffee and heaven!
This mask is straightforward to wear - wash face, tone skin, wear mask for 20 - 30 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin!
This mask is a little brown as well - but, it's well soaked in essence and fit's well. This lasted over 30 minutes on me and smells amazing to wear, seriously it's like walking around with a fall candle. It also makes my skin feel really nice and smooth too!
Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask - Manuka Honey ~ $1.75 CAN. Nourishes the skin to minimize the appearance of wrinkles.
This mask has an emulsion-type essence that nourishes the skin with added nutrition! I have really enjoyed Manuka Honey masks as I find them super nourishing! I haven't tried a ton of Etude House masks; but, I guess the 0.2 is that they are 0.2 mm thin!
This mask is just like the other masks to use - wash face, tone skin, apply mask, wear for 10 - 20 minutes, remove mask, and massage remaining essence in to skin!
This mask was quite soaked with essence and adhered super well to my face and was so comfortable and soft to wear. This lasted about 30 minutes on me with essence left to pat in. This left my skin feeling super soft and hydrated - like really hydrated, even the following morning! So good!
Soo AE Nature Collagen Essence Mask - Green Tea ~ $4.00 CAN. Achieve the appearance of smooth, supple and glowing skin with the moisturizing benefits of Green Tea Extract.
I haven't tried much from Soo AE; but, I really want to try more from the brand now that I see that they are available in Walmart - I love accessible k-beauty products! The Green Tea mask is meant to be good for plumping and smoothing the skin!
This mask is again, straight-forward to use (I swear, I do this in case some of them have weird directions); but, you wash face, tone skin, apply mask and wear for 15 - 20 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin!
The Soo AE masks are a little thicker, almost feel like a quilted material on the face - you can see it fits quite big on me (especially the eye holes feel super big). It still adhered well to the face and made my skin hydrated and soft - not bad overall.
TheFaceShop Real Nature Face Mask - Mung Bean ~ $3.00 CAN. The Mungo Bean Real Nature Face Mask leaves skin clear and radiant. In just a couple of minutes, it helps eliminate impurities that clog your pores, to leave your skin dazzling.
I have tried this Mung Bean mask before and I really liked - it fit quite big; but, still was brightening and moisturizing the face! I'm hoping it still works just as good as I love going to TheFaceShop and stocking up on their affordable masks!
This mask mask is just like the other Real Nature Masks to use - wash face, tone skin, apply mask and wear for 10 - 15 minutes, remove mask, and pat remaining essence in to skin.
Again, like the other Real Nature masks, this one fit huge on my face - for the most part, I can't fold and smooth it enough to get it to fit nicely on my face (I realize I have a little head; but, not in a too small way or anything), so I do find the fit slightly absurd on me. Anyways, this one was really brightening and refreshing on my skin!
Hiddencos Latte Mask ~ $16.98 US for 10 masks. The premium arabica coffee extract provides rich moisture and nutrition to the tired skin. Anti-aging adenosine and whitening niacinamide tends the skin clear and elastic. Patented Phyto Oligo ingredient protects and tends the skin smooth with moisture.
I've reviewed this before in the same post as the Americano mask - you can check out my original thoughts here! This one smells like caramel coffee too - so yummy, like you are wearing a fall candle on your face! Yum!
This mask is just like the other Hiddencos mask to wear - wash face, tone skin, wear mask for 20 - 30 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to skin!
This mask is so thin and fits so nicely on the face - it adheres and wears so well! Again, this one also smells like caramel coffee and is just so nice and yummy to wear. I love it! It also wears for a long time and really leaves my skin feel soft and hydrated and healthy!
TheFaceShop Real Nature Face Mask - Pomegranate ~ $3.00 CAN. This Pomegranate Face Mask reduces the appearance of the first signs of aging and helps improve skin's elasticity. Rich in antioxidants, pomegranate provides skin with long-lasting hydration and a radiant complexion.
I have used this mask before as well - again, I always go to The Face Shop and stock up on a ton of masks, as they usually have a deal like buy 10, get 5 or buy 12 and get 8, so I always end up with lots of masks!
I already have 2 other Real Nature masks in this food week post, so this mask is used the same way as the other masks - wash face, tone skin, apply mask and wear for 10 - 15 minutes, remove mask, and pat remaining essence in to skin.
Oh look, here is another Real Nature mask by The Face Shop that fits huge on me - this is fine, and the Face Shop masks used to be my go-to affordable masks; but, I really do struggle with the fit of these overall - there are other affordable masks, that do fit better so I might start dwindling down my stash of these masks! They aren't bad - this made my skin feel great, it's just the fit on me is hard to work with!
Have you guys tried any of these masks?! I had using food masks all week and my favorites are the Hiddencos and Etude House mask!
