Happy Manicure Monday everyone! Also, I want to declare this week as Disney week here on See The World in PINK! Expect a whole lot of Disney themed posts this week!

Manicure Monday "Inspired By" Beauty and the Beast ~ Stamping and Nail Art

"Tale as old as time, Song as old as rhyme, Beauty and Beast"... I could just keep singing and singing this song - I love Beauty and the Beast!

This week for our #CBBManiMonday theme was "Inspired By" and clearly I was inspired by Belle and Beauty and the Beast!

When I think of Beauty and the Beast, I think of Belle's beautiful dress, and the enchanted rose! I have been working on improving my stamping technique, so the roses seem like the perfect time to get stamping!

The products I used for this week's manicure are:
-Ciate polish in Big Yellow Taxi
-ColorClub yellow polish
-The Face Shop nail polish in Red
-Bundle Monster (Maniology) plate 715 - Secret Garden Collection, Hedgehog Hunny Hideout
-Wet n Wild black creme polish (not pictured)
-Sally Hansen white on polish (not polish)
-ciate black dome accents (not pictured)
-nail art polish brush

To get these nails I started with 3 coats of the base Ciate polish and let it dry well.

For the pink, pointer, and thumb, I stamped full nails of roses from the stamping plate.

For the middle finger, I used the ColorClub polish and painted scalloped lines on the nails, and repeated over the same lines 3 times to add some height to the dress nail!

For the ring finger, I add a dome shape with the white polish and filled it in. Then I stamped one single rose at the base of the nail). With the nail art polish and the red, I added a few little brush strokes to look like petals that have fallen off). Then with the black polish and nail art brush, create an outline, and with nail art glue, add on a little accent for the top of the case.

And here is the final product again! I'm happy with how this turned out - I love the enchanted rose in it's case!

  1. This is TOTALLY Belle and I love that you brought out the stamping gear because you know how I fear the stamp!
