Calgary Birthday Freebies 2024 - Ultimate List of 25 + Free Gifts

If you followed along on my birthday (yes a while back), you remember that I made it my mission to get as many totally free birthday items as I possibly could and am FINALLY reporting on my full list of items I got in Calgary! 

I started my day with my first freebie at 6:00 a.m. so I could get a whole bunch in before and after work - I highly recommend picking out a few things or go for them all! Some you will need rewards apps for and others you can show your ID - I will do my best to share what you need as well!

Denny's Free Grandslam Breakfast 

This is one of the easiest - simply dine in with your photo identification for a totally free Grandslam breakfast of your choice! I built my own here with eggs, hashbrown, pancakes, eggs and toast!

"People can take everything away from you, but they can never take away your truth. But the question is, can you handle mine?" - My Prerogative. (yes I know that was an older song pre-Britney, but it's so fitting for her situation, it's uncanny!) I flew threw The Woman in Me by Britney Spears and took a few days to come up with my thoughts - obviously, I'm a Britney fan, I grew up in that era looking up to her, and watching everything happen but not really knowing what was going on. Her story has been dictated by everyone but her up to this point and so it was perfect to hear her side of the story and understand what was going on. What her family did to her (as well as the media, the paparazzi, everyone in her life basically) is so difficult - she had paid off all their debt and still had to take more. Forcing her to work, while simultaneously claiming she was incapable of caring for herself is so wild - if someone is that incapacitated, should they have been forced on to world tours and in recording studios just to line her father's pockets (who made more during that time than she did?!)

Happy Friday everyone! Can you believe it's the last Friday in June and it's July 1st tomorrow?! Wow! It's been a little busy this week, I've had two 6-7 hour driving days to Edmonton and back (one for a family baby shower and one for work), so I'm tired!

I just received my May Owlcrate subscription and this month's theme is "If The Fates Allow" - each month the book Owlcrate includes is signed by the author and comes with a note from the author as well. They often have special edition covers just for the box, and they seem to include a lot of exclusive items just for Owlcrate, which is so fun! As a bookworm, I have been loving this subscription! (Also, I put everything away and didn't take a picture, so check out my instagram or youtube for the video!)

Last weekend Elliott turned 6 years old - he's the cutest, spunkiest little guy! We had so much fun celebrating his birthday and rented out a theatre so family and friends could all watch the Mario movie with us!

You guys - my first baby turned 18 this week! I can't believe - time has flown by. But, we went out to celebrate at a pub (family friendly so his friends could come and so could his little brother). You guys loved up doing a tequila shot together on instagram (my most watched reel in a while!)
