Here's a look at what I was loving in October:

Last year I started just picking any number of products I'm loving, instead of trying to find 5 each month (which I did previously!) So, whatever number of products I'm loving, that's what I will be sharing.
I've been slower at using and trying out new products, so naturally my Favourites have been on the smaller side lately (and I'm totally fine with that) - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:
PanOxyl Creamy Wash Cleanser - Benzoyl Peroxide Cream 4% ~ $11.99 CAN. This daily wash cleans and unclogs pores to clear existing breakouts. It can also help to prevent new blemishes from forming when used as part of a daily acne treatment routine. The creamy formula is balanced with emollients for a gentler & hydrating daily cleanse. Banish breakouts without the prescription. Acne is formed when a pore becomes clogged due to bacteria and excess oils. PanOxyl treats breakouts with the power of benzoyl peroxide—a first line defense for clear skin. Benzoyl peroxide goes deep into pores to kill acne-causing bacteria and remove excess oils.
I have combo-skin that can be acne-prone, but also very prone to hormonal break-outs so I went to get my skin assessed and was recommended a benzoyl peroxide cleanser (I've had this to-try for a little while but was scared it would be harsh or drying on my skin - I was very wrong!) This was really creamy and has genuinely improved my skin, when it came time for my hormonal breakouts, it was so minimal and I haven't had any breakouts for the two months that I've been using this. Make sure you use this for at least 30 seconds on the skin - I use it as my second cleanser every other evening and it's been perfect for me!
Biotherm Life Plankton Elixir Repairing Serum ~ $107.00 CAN for 50 ml (or $80.00 CAN for 30 ml). This serum is all about healing and regenerating the skin - this is exactly what I'm looking for after being a little hard on my skin for a few months! This serum has some vitamin c and hyaluronic acid to brighten the skin; but, it also has Biotherm's Life Plankton ingredient that is full of nutrients to repair and sooth the skin! I have used half of this bottle already and it's amazing - my skin is just really hydrated and soothed from using this! You can see my review of this line on my past blog post here!
Veriphy Hit or Mist Facial Toner ~ $52.00 CAN. This luxurious toning mist brings together the power of phytoglycogen to moisturize and provide anti-aging benefits, while aloe, white tea and blue lotus extracts soothe and nourish the skin. Use as a gentle toner, or mist over the skin throughout the day for a quick boost of hydration and calm.
I was really excited to work with Veriphy skincare - I typically don't feature three products from PR at the same time, but these brands have just been bomb and I'm so excited to use all of them on the daily. I typically use a tone and then a mist in my routine, but this product was able to combine those steps without feeling like I'm missing something. I think the ingredients are great at calming the skin and prepping them for the next steps! It also smells amazing and I use it morning and night now!
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream in 390 Soleil Tan Bronze ~ $62.00 CAN. A unique, lightweight and easy-to-blend cream-gel bronzer with a delicate, velvety finish that gives a natural sun-kissed glow. The generously-sized jar makes it easy to swirl the kabuki brush, for effortless application.
This is such a gorgeous bronzer - that gorgeous swirl is what's made it go viral and it's a creamy product, but not too creamy, so you do have to get in there a little bit to get some pigment, but applies nicely and smooths out well on the face! The colour for me is perfect - it blends out so smoothly on the skin, and just gives that beautiful, subtle glow on the skin!
