I love Halloween - so excited to show our costumes - Goomba Cat, Cat Princess Peach and Bowser! My mom made this amazing costume for Elliott when he had this request for his costume - it turned out amazing! So, since I was Princess Peach last year, I thought I'd be Cat Peach to match Elliott!
TWO
A couple of days before Halloween, I hosted a little Halloween Party - if you've been around here for a few years you know I love Halloween parties! I had so much fun with Halloween snacks!
This year I did a Hocus Pocus cheese board, A spider Seven Layer Dip, Black Cat Cookies and Poison Apple Red Velvet cookies. I love how it all turned out!
THREE
It's been almost two years I went vegetarian and I've been enjoying sharing my veggie meals. I hope that you guys have been enjoying seeing all the recipes and veggie meal ideas! I'm not preachy about going vegetarian, but I do think everyone should reduce their meat consumption, so even if one day a week you want to do meatless Monday, hoping you will find some good suggestions! Also, I'm also going to include some of my eating out meals instead of just cooked for a little more inspiration if you are looking to eat vegetarian while out!
(Also, this month there are a few pescatarian meals in here as I eat fish and seafood once in a while!)

On Halloween I went to one of my favourite used book stores in Calgary (Books Between Friends) and they were giving away Halloween decor - I purchased some books of course, but walked away with some good finds!
FIVE
I just got my Fall SampleSource - I got the email a little late, so I got some candy, two mini bars, some cat food and a coupon for free gnocchi! No complaints here!
