I haven't tried a ton of luxury make-up; but, I do like to indulge and splurge a little when I can (and really when my PC Points let me - I will never not say this, I don't care if I look cheap in a luxury make-up post, use those points and treat your self if it's not something you can afford, or don't want to spend your monthly budget on, like me!)
I saw this bronzer everywhere and when I saw it on Shoppers Drug Mart, I knew I had to give it a try! Also, while browsing through their products, I really heard good things about this balm blush too, so I knew I had to try it as well!
Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream in 390 Soleil Tan Bronze ~ $62.00 CAN. A unique, lightweight and easy-to-blend cream-gel bronzer with a delicate, velvety finish that gives a natural sun-kissed glow. The generously-sized jar makes it easy to swirl the kabuki brush, for effortless application.
This is such a gorgeous bronzer - that gorgeous swirl is what's made it go viral and it's a creamy product, but not too creamy, so you do have to get in there a little bit to get some pigment, but applies nicely and smooths out well on the face!
I'm new to cream bronzers - I just tried my first one last year (and it wasn't great), but I tried a second one this year, and loved it, so I'm excited to keep exploring the world of cream products and I really enjoy this one!
This product comes in three shades and I picked up the lightest, Soleil Tan Bronze; there is also a Medium Bronze and Deep Bronze. I do like this shade for me, I consider myself to be a light-medium, so this works well for me!
Chanel N°1 de Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm in Lively Rosewood ~ $61.00 CAN. Enriched with red camellia oil, the multi-use N°1 DE CHANEL lip and cheek balm offers concentrated hydration and comfort. Its formula contains 86% naturally derived ingredients. Smooth and nourishing, it melts onto the skin, visibly plumps the lips and cheeks, and adds a touch of colour.
I call this a cream blush, but it's actually a balm and it's multi-purpose - it can be used for both lips and cheeks and actually love a balm product! I picked a gorgeous universal shade and I'm really happy with this product.
It's a super emollient product and goes on soft on the cheeks and blends really nicely in - it's a light, and buildable product and looks gorgeous on both the cheeks and lips!
The shade I picked was "Lively Rosewood" and it's this lovely rosey shade and works well for me on both my cheeks and lips! It also comes in a variety of red, pinks and beiges so there is something for everyone in this line!
Here is a look with the Chanel Cream products on! I'm wearing the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream around the edges of my face and the Lip and Cheek Balm in Lively Rosewood on my cheeks and lips!
I'm really happy with both of these products - have you tried any Chanel makeup products before?!
