Trying New ELF Products - Glow Reviver Lip Oil and Duochrome Liquid Eyeshadow

It's no secret around here, I'm a turned drugstore makeup girlie - I've been impressed with the ELF Products that I've tried this year, so I've been following their new releases pretty closely!

Naturally when ELF announced they were releasing a lip oil AND a duochrome shadow in the same week, I have to run and order them both, immediately! They are always available on the ELF website first (which has great perks for points, discounts and free shipping!), and then eventually they will trickle in to drugstores in Canada! 

Here's a closer look at both products: 

ELF Glow Reviver Lip Oil in Rose Envy ~ $10.00 CAN. Nourishing tinted lip oil with a high-shine finish. 

A lip oil is my most favourite lip formula - my makeup has certainly gotten a little lighter, less full face, more no-makeup-makeup-look, so a lip oil is perfect in that. I love the little bit of colour with nourishing properties in it! This comes in 7 shades from clear to brown and everything in between! This is meant to be non-sticky and can be worn alone or over a lipstick. 

The shade I picked up was Rose Envy - it is a lovely, neutral rosy pink! It's a lovely sheer shine with a hint of colour on the lips. I love the big applicator and I love that it gives that gorgeous glossy finish and gives that full, pout look. It's not sticky, but you can feel it on the lips and it wears well!

Here's a look at Rose Envy on my lips - it gives that lovely, glossy look while being nourishing on the lips! I love the little hint of color and this is quickly becoming one of my favourite lip oil formulas. It jumped right in to my purse and I use it all the time and love it! 

ELF Duochrome Liquid Eyeshadow in Cyberpink ~ $11.00 CAN. Duochrome liquid eyeshadow with color-shifting, metallic finish.

I love a duochrome shadow and a liquid shadow, so I love that ELF is making this formula at a super affordable price! Duochrome is usually a pricier formula, so this will make it a little more accessible which is always a good thing. This was released in three shades. The formula is meant to be a long lasting, gel formula. 

The shade Cyberpink is meant to shift from pink to gold - it looks a little white/silver but does shift to pink and it's very evident on the eye! This applied really nicely with the applicator or with a brush on the eyes. They do dry down (but not cracking or anything) and it wore well all night and was amazing on the eyes! 

Here is a look at the shade Cyerpink on the eyes - you can mostly see the pink but also a little more gold as this applies on the eyes. It looks so nice and the duochrome is really evident! Such a great formula! 

Here's a makeup look with both products on - the Lip Reviver Oil on the lips and the Duochrome Liquid Eyeshadow on the eyes! I loved this look and wore it for a night out and it looked great all night. Both of these formulas are great and I can see myself picking up more of them!
