I have a pretty solid skincare routine and I tend to use the same routine throughout the year, but I do switch the products based on the time of year (for example, usually a thicker cream when it's colder and drier in the Winter). So naturally as we move in to Fall, it's time for a focus on some new skincare products!

I will say over the Summer, I did a little bit of a number to my skin barrier - I think I was overusing some actives along with the hot weather and sun exposure (although, I do always wear my SPF 50), but I did have some redness and uneven skintones based on the season. With the colder weather coming, I thought it was really important to hunker down on my routine, focus on gentle products that are going to repair my skin barrier!
I was so impressed with the Biotherm products I was sent (you've already seen on of these on my Monthly Favourites!), so I can't wait to share more information about these!
Biotherm Cera Cream To Foam Cleanser ~ $38.00 CAN. Cera Cream-to-Foam Cleanser is Biotherm's first-ever vegan cleanser. The cream to foam is a nice touch and it doesn't feel drying or stripping on the skin - Biotherm has all these soothing formulas and ingredients, so you know this is going to be gentle on your skin!
Here's a look at the formula - I do like this as both a morning cleanser or as a second cleanse in my nighttime routine. This does suds up a little for the second cleanse, removing the rest of the makeup, or just a tiny bit for a morning refresh is great!

This is a look at the Biotherm serum - this is a couple of drops and I typically use 3-4 drops of this. Usually I use this by itself in the morning, and then I can also use it in the evening with a niacinamide and it's been great for my skin. It's feeling more even and soothed!

This moisturizer is fantastic - it's meant to keep skin strong, soothed and healthy and this was a game-changer for helping to repair my skin barrier! Honestly, within a couple of weeks of using this, you really could feel and see the difference in my skin. It's a thick cream, but it's not heavy so it's great! (Also, this already my Monthly Favourites in September!)
Here's a look at the moisturizer - this is such a nice, comfortable soothing cream! This is such a great texture and overall this is probably one of the best creams I've ever used. It's built my skin back up and it's worked well for me!
