Paula's Choice Boosters - C15 Super Booster, Peptide Booster, and 10% Niacinamide

One of my favourite steps of my skincare routine is my "treatment" step - this is after toners and exfoliants and includes mists, essences and ampoules. Another newer addition to this step is boosters - I have reviewed a few and I have been loving trying these out!

These boosters were received as PR samples - this

The best part about boosters is that they can be used as the treatment step alone, mixed with serums and essences or mixed together!

I've been impressed with Paula's Choice products and these are no exception! I've actually already featured two of these on the Monthly Favourites over the past few months; but, I do think they are worthy of a full review!

Paula's Choice Boosters

Paula's Choice Peptide Booster ~ $52.00 US. Unlock firmer-looking skin with eight powerful peptides that make skin more resilient and reduce the appearance of lines.

This booster is a mix of peptides, amino acids, and repairing ingredients - it targets firmness, dullness, wrinkles and discolouration. The booster is meant to leave the skin firmer and more resilient and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

The texture is described as described as a lightweight gel and it comes with a dropper applicator. You can use it alone or add it in to your regular serum or moisturizer. I have used it all ways and thought they all worked well - I personally prefer my products applied one at a time to absorb quickly in to the skin!

Paula's Choice Boosters

This actually made my Monthly Favourites back in February and I really loved using this over the Winter! I just noticed that this made my skin stronger and healthier overall. You could see that my skin looked smoother and brighter overall and was super smooth. This can be used morning or night; but, personally based on the texture I liked using it at night!

Paula's Choice Boosters

Paula's Choice 10% Niacinamide Booster ~ $44.00 US. This concentrated 10% niacinamide serum booster dramatically improves uneven skin tone and refines the appearance of pore size, skin texture and fine lines.

This booster is a concentrated 10% niacinamide (vitamin B3) that targets the appearance of pores, texture and fine lines - it is basically meant to give you brighter, younger looking skin (which who doesn't need that?!) I have heard so many great things about niacinamide as an ingredient and after using this, I have to agree!

Paula's Choice Boosters

The texture of the booster is described as a "sheer, ultra-light liquid formula" - it absorbs so quickly in to the skin! Like the other boosters, you can use this alone or mixed with another serum. I personally liked using this after a mist before my moisturizer in the morning since it was so light!

Paula's Choice Boosters

This booster made my Monthly Favourites in March and it was really great at improving my skin tone evenness and texture. I felt, like with the peptide booster that my skin just looked healthier overall and I really enjoy this one - while I was using this regular, I noted how good my skin looked!

Paula's Choice Boosters

Paula's Choice C15 Super Booster ~ $49.00 US. This concentrated booster with 15% pure vitamin C dramatically brightens uneven skin while improving the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

This is a 15% vitamin C booster and even though last year really helped me with some really good vitamin C experiences, prior to that I had a few that broke me out, so I'm always a little apprehensive when trying a new one! I did start out with a very small amount of this and didn't use it at the same time as BHAs in my routine and I did notice that this strategy worked well for introducing a new vitamin c in my routine! Vitamin C is good for brightening the skin!

Paula's Choice Boosters

This is a lightweight liquid formula and it comes with a dropper applicator. Again, it can be mixd with other serums or moisturizers.

If I'm being honest, this is my least favourite serum out of the three - and that doesn't mean it's a bad thing, I'm just trying to get more comfortable regularly using a vitamin C in my routine. I have been using it in the morning and it is working well in my routine and the results are good! And, while the results are good with this, the results are great with the peptide and niacinamide boosters!

Have you guys tried boosters in your skincare routine? Which one is your favourite?

  1. I haven't tried Paula's Choice Boosters before but I'm a huge fan of Niacinamide, so that may be my first purchase.

  2. I also tend to like Vit C serums the least...never sure quite why. I am excited to pick up these to try for myself - they look great.

    1. I find vitamin c serums so finnicky and they will break me out if it's not the best formula (this one doesn't do that, but I like the other ingredients better!)

  3. All of these boosters sound so nice! I have the Niacinamide one but to be honest, before reading your post, I had no idea what it did for the skin haha!
