Skincare Sunday Product Review - Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

This week's review is on The True Cream - Aqua Bomb by Belif! (This little goodie made my favourites in September, and I'm still loving it!)

Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

Belif The True Cream - Aqua Bomb ~ sample size 4,000 Won (approx. $3.43 USD). This aqua balm with Napiers aqua formula containing Lady's Mantle, often called "a woman's hydrating herb," is an invigorating gel type cream that supplies instant moisture to the skin while forming a protective layer that wraps the skin in comfort.

Belif marks itself as a true herbal brand with products based on 150 years of expertise.

I buy this in sample sizes from TesterKorea, because Belif isn't available on Sephora for Canadians but I believe it is for Americans (I won't rant but I'm not happy about that!)

Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

I have been loving gel creams lately and this one is incredibly moisturizing! I think the myth is that a gel-cream is not as moisturizing as a lotion, but I'm not sure I believe that!

I use this after my emulsion as both a day lotion and a night lotion. (If you want to see the steps of my skincare routine, you can go here for Nightime and here for Daytime - it is a little outdated but still the same steps!)

Here is a look at the texture:

The biggest test of a lotion for me is if it can stand up for my dry skin in the super dry, cold winters here in Alberta! This one can! Again, I love the texture and how moisturizing this is! If you plan on placing a TesterKorea order soon, or are lucky to live somewhere where Sephora will send you Aqua Bomb - this is a must try!! So good! Additionally, I have tried a few essences and lotions from Belif and will be purchasing more!

  1. I've heard great things about this gel cream, but I've been skeptical to try it because gel's usually don't work for my dry skin. I will have to keep it in mind next time I need to make a skincare purchase (which probably won't be for awhile with the pile I have lol)
