Five on Friday - January 1, 2016

Happy New Years everyone!!! Can you believe it is 2016 already?! Where did the time go?! So much has passed since I was her last for Five on Friday! Most importantly - Christmas!! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday, we had a really quiet Christmas and just did small presents and relaxed. We spent Christmas night visiting family out of town! 

Let's try and catch up on the last 2 weeks! 

ONE

New Years Makeup!!! For this look I used:

-Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette for a light Smoky Eye
-Lit Cosmetics gold glitter for a big cat eye 
-Benefit Rollerlash Mascara
-Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop for my highlight
-The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes on the lips!

TWO

Star Wars!!!! We went to an over night showing on opening night! Honestly, I wasn't actually that excited to see the movie, but I left LOVING it! It made me want to watch the entire series all over again - I loved all the new characters: Rey, Finn, Po, BB8! 

THREE
I'm going to do this again - January is a NO BUY month!!! Seriously! Last time I did not follow it, but I just went through my entire makeup and skincare collection - I sold my unused makeup in auctions, purged what I didn't want, and organized my stash - I need to get rid of some stuff before buying anything new (other than my couple of beauty subscriptions I'm still getting, but those don't count!)

FOUR

How awesome is my new shirt?! I actually ordered one for a friend for Christmas (and stupidly I ordered from Shein which took almost 2 months to get to me, not the 2 weeks they advertised), so I ordered myself one too!!! I love it - it actually describes me perfectly!!

Have you checked out my new Reading Challenge page? I posted the Pop Sugar 2016 Reading Challenge and finished up my 2015 Challenge! I didn't read as many books as I hoped to last year, but it's a fun way to keep track of them all!! I already have a couple of good books on the go!
