Five on Saturday - November 2, 2019

Happy Saturday everyone and Happy November!!! I sound like a broken record sometimes, but I can't believe it is November already!!! 

ONE 

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween! We had a blast - Elliott loved trick-or-treating this year and was so good, although he kept saying "I want some treats" instead of "trick or treat" - good thing he was the cutest little Pikachu ever! I love handing out candy and seeing everyone's costumes! But, dare I say that as much as I love Halloween, I'm totally ready to prep for Christmas now!!!!

Had so much at our Kid's Halloween Party yesterday - the planning and details were lots of fun and making all the Halloween goodies were lots of fun! This past weekend we had a Kid's Halloween Party and we had a blast! I love decorating and getting in to the holidays and this was so much fun! 

I went to town on Halloween themed foods and did 7 layer dip with a spider web (and a vegan version), pumpkin sugar cookies, monster cupcakes and a harvest mix! 

I even made the veggies and fruit in to Halloween themed - I carved Jack-o-lanterns in to orange peppers, ghost bananas and pumpkin oranges, cheese brain, pumpkin devilled eggs, and a skeleton with sausage, plus mummies weiner wraps and a cauldron spinach dip!

THREE 

I got my Fall SampleSource box and I got lots of goodies - food, instant coffee, Batiste dry shampoo, Cetephil and a couple more. Plus, this month actually came with multiple coupons for free food items to pick up at the store which is new to me! 

FOUR 

Time for a little recap of my October Monthly Makeup Basket - I will show you my November Monthly Makeup Basket next week! 

• Physicians Formula Rose All Day Petal Glow in Petal Pink - this is a lovely blush and spoiler alert - I love it! You can see my full post on it here and I used this a ton all month long! 
• Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Peach-Infused Highlighting Palette - this was lovely palette when it was released in 2017 and it made my Favourites in June 2018, but it hasn't gotten any recent use so it was nice to use it all month - I used all the products in here all month and really enjoyed this palette again! 
• Vichy Teint Ideal Highlighter - this is a roll on highlighter that I completely forgot about in a drawer sadly - I did really like it initially. I think the formula is a couple years old now, so it doesn't feel the best anymore! I may declutter this.
• Wet n Wild Color Icon Rainbow Highlighter in Unicorn Glow - this is a fun bright highlighter - I should have paired this with a pink blush (which I was clearly missing this month), so I didn't wear it much at all! 

FIVE 

Did you guys try to get a Jilly Box this week?! I was so excited when Jillian Harris announced that she was releasing a lifestyle subscription and I couldn't wait to get one! So, I was on the website early and lined up boom - got stuck in a queue at 19,890+ only to find out that there was only 5000 being released. I was so upset and I stayed in queue all day just in case some reason 15000 people in front of me dropped out and I could get a box. And, there was this many people for a $170 box! I was really bummed when I didn't get one and still am, even though I'm telling myself that it wasn't anything I need and I saved some money, but damn I have a feeling this is going to be good!
