January Shop My Stash - Teal Turquoise Glittery Eyeshadow Look

I said earlier at the beginning of the year that at least once per month, I wanted to "Shop My Stash" and come up with fun makeup looks with products that can get forgotten about in my collection. This months look was all about the deep teals and a bold eye look!

I tend to love everything new and shiny and can easily get distracted by wanting to play with everything new and exciting; but, I really love my makeup and don't want to have anything get lost in my collection!

This is another reason why I put myself on a stricter budget this year - to appreciate and enjoy the products I have in my collection already! Sometimes I can forget to just play with makeup and have fun - I think this whole teal glittery look is a great way to get in to the Shop My Stash series; because, it is so FUN!

All I knew when I started this look was that I wanted it to be a smoky, bold teal look and that's exactly how it turned out! I also wanted to make sure that everything I used in this look was something that I have tried before - nothing new here (a lots are products that have been around for a while!)

This look is all about the eyes! I started by priming by eyes with the Elizabeth Mott primer, then with the Lorac Mega Pro palette I used Cream as a base shadow for the whole lid and Camel and Fawn for transition shades in the crease. I deepened the crease with Grey and then went in with Deep Team in the outer corner.

Then using the ColourPop No Filter Concealer, I did a half cut crease, and then with the Wet n Wild quad, I took the teal shade and applied it with my finger all over the lid. Using the   Alamar Cosmetics palette I applied Veradero to the outer lid and patted Deep Teal from the Lorac Mega Pro palette on top. With a fine brush, I used Deep Teal and Cavier from the Lorac Mega Pro 1 to deepen the top of the cut crease. Then I applied the Wet n Wild teal along the lower lash line. One that was done, I took a little bit of the LIT Cosmetics glitter in Peacock and just applied a little right in the centre of the lid with the glitter base.

I finished the eye look with the L'Oreal Lash Paradise Liner, tightlined with the Marc Jacobs liner, the Benefit They're Real Mascara and the Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse.

For the rest of the face, I started with the Smashbox Primer Oil and then applied the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation and the ColourPop No Filter Concealer with a Beauty Blender. Then with my damp beauty sponge I set under my eyes and my t-zone with the Laura Mercier Powder, and finished my base with a light dusting of the Hourglass Ambient Light Powder all over. then I applied the Note Cosmetics blush and topped it with the Laura Geller highlighter. And, to finish the look, I applied the Sephora Collection lipstick in Brunch Date.
