March 2017 - Month in Masks & Mask Empties!

Masking is a huge part (and probably my favorite part) of my skincare routine! I try to use all types of masks as often as possible as I find they really help moisturize and improve my skin!

This post is a review of all the masks I use each month and mini reviews on all of them - I also consider the Month of Masks my Mask Empties post, because I do not feature my sheet masks in my monthly empties post! You can check out my past Month of Masks here

Here is a look at the masks I used in March:

March 1
TONYMOLY I'm Real Mask Sheet - Seaweed ~ $1.99 US. Purifying sheet mask. Contains seaweed. Makes dull skin bright and radiant.

This mask was featured on a Mask Wednesday - you can check out my review here! This mask was not my favorite sheet mask at all. I did not find it moisturizing at all and I need hydration out of my sheet masks!

Repurchase: Maybe another Tony Moly mask, but not this type!

March 3
Etude House 0.2mm Mask - "Strawberry" ~ $2.00 US. Low-irritant mask made of breathable 0.2mm air sheet. Contains strawberry extract and Niacinamide. Provides brightness, even tone, moisture, and clarity to skin.

This mask came with a whole extra handful of essence to apply to the face prior to applying the mask. This mask didn't have tabs to help it apply to the face - it did still adhere well to the face and lasted a long time! It was good - nothing amazing, but made my skin feel moisturized!

Repurchased: Maybe, these are nice and inexpensive

March 5
The Saem Pure Natural Mask Sheet "Snail" ~ $4.90. Mask sheet for intense and effective moisturizing with snail mucin.

Who doesn't love snail in their skincare?! It is such a moisturizing ingredient - I featured this on a Skincare Sunday and you can check out my full review here! This mask was super moisturizing and hydrating on my skin and lasted for about 40 minutes so it had a lot of essence! It brightened and improved the look of my skin!
Repurchase: Yes

March 8
Beauty Clinic - Mediheal Dress Code "Blue" Mask ~ $3.00. Herb, Aqua care, (Anti-wrinkle function). Herb aqua solution- With this Mediheal Mask Dress Code, Experience a beauty beyond compare during intensive skin care and complete all skin care steps with mask dress's dignity.

Uses a highly concentrated formulation of natural materials, helps your unbalanced skin become healthier by making it resistant to stress and restoring skin balance.

This is one of my favorite masks - you can check out my Mask Wednesday review here. I love that this mask looks great AND delivers serious hydration to the skin! I can't rave about these enough - if you ever spot them (I bought a box a Winners) buy them immediately! So good!

March 12
Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Patches ~ 1 set for $2.57 (7 sets for $18). These soothing eye patches refresh, moisturize and brighten tired eyes. Formulated with a unique combination of cornflower to naturally soothe and reduce puffiness; arnica to drain the eye contour; and chamomile to refresh and provide anti-inflammatory benefits. Eyes are instantly brighter with bags and lines visibly reduced.

These eye masks are okay - I have tried them a couple of times before. What's nice is they do adhere very well and stay on the eye, but I find them quite big. I had a rough sleep the night before and these did work to make my under eyes look better!
Repurchase: Maybe... I have a few eye masks I prefer over these...

March 15
L'Herboflore Party Sweetheart: Sweety Black Tea Balancing Mask ~$3.00. A skin-balancing sheet mask formulated with Horse Chestnut and White Willow extracts to purify the skin and restore the oil-water balance in the skin. Formulated with Black Tea extract and Yeast extract, the sheet mask helps rejuvenate dull skin for a brighter complexion! Perfect for combination and oily skin types.

I love these L'Herboflore Taiwanese masks - they all have such pretty packaging! This mask came with extra essence and was well soaked in essence. The mask is nice and thin and fits well on the face. This wasn't good for my skin type - it is much more meant for oily skin. It wasn't as moisturizing on my dry skin - you can see my full review on this mask here
Repurchase: Not this mask, but yes L'Herboflore masks...

March 20
Beauty Clinic Mediheal Snail Aquaring SOS Mask ~ $4.49 CAN. "Dr. Post" Snail Aquaring SOS Mask is a special moisturizing clinic system which intensively manages skin which has been damaged by dry environment containing hydration building ingredients such as Snail Mucus Components. Also it has a synergy ampoule booster which is used specially before applying masks and skin dryness is relieved by using Prunus Mume Fruit Water instead of water.

This mask is my FAVORITE - like holy grail level mask! I reviewed this mask in the past and you can check out my review here! This leaves my skin soooo hydrated and amazing feeling! Best mask ever!
Repurchase: Yes!

March 22
Laneige Water Bank Soothing Gel Mask ~ $9.00 per mask (or 5 for $31.00). A cooling and moisturizing hydrogel sheet mask that adheres perfectly to the skin's contours for intense hydration.

I was so excited to try this Laneige hydrogel mask - I just scooped it up from a recent Sephora order and featured it on a Mask Wednesday post - you can check out my full thoughts here! This mask fits well and adhered great to the skin, but it started drying on my face within 10 minutes and was not nearly as hydrating as I wanted it to be. A bit of a disappointment if I'm being honest.
Repurchase: No

March 23
Raspberry Roots Collagen Eye Patch ~ $5. Get younger-looking eyes with these patches that firm and tone the eye contour area. Enriched with raspberry root and collagen extract, they are perfectly suitable for sensitive skin of the eye contour area.

These masks actually come with 2 sets for $5 - great deal! I liked that these were gel masks and actually lasted quite a while on my under eyes and were cooling and hydrating for my under eyes!

Repurchase: Probably

March 25
Evercos Herbal Mask "Licorice" ~ 10,500 Won for 5 ($8.93 USD for 5) = $1.79 USD per mask. For keeping your skin bright and moist forever.

These masks are much harder to find than the traditional k-beauty sheet masks! I quite like them - Damian and I both wore these together and they lasted for well over 30 minutes on our faces. I reviewed this quite a while ago and you can check it out here! The fit was a bit too big and it didn't spread out well, but it did adhere pretty good and made my skin look good!
Repurchase: Yes, I would like to try more Evercos masks

March 29
Skoah Hydradew Mask ~ $48.00. Our most popular mask. Chock full of oil free hydrating ingredients. Contains glycosaminoglycans (from vegetable skins), hyaluronic acid, sea kelp algae and plant extracts.

I have just recently introduced to Skoah products - I enjoyed a facial from them this month and picked up the Hydradew mask! I just reviewed this mask on a Mask Wednesday post and you can see my thoughts here! This is a multi-use product - it is a rinse off hydrating mask, but it can also be used as an overnight mask or even underneath a moisturizer as an added moisturizing step! I was really happy with how hydrated and refreshed this made my skin feel!
Repurchase: Likely - I will use the rest of this first!

So, for March I used 11 masks - I am still trying to step up my routine on masking and use more masks like I have in the past! I will step it up for April hopefully!!!
