Five on Friday - April 21, 2017

Happy Friday everyone! Hope your week is good - mine was a little busy with a few appointments (baby is only 2 weeks away at this point in time!), but I still had plenty of time to relax this week! And, relaxing is exactly what I needed this week!

ONE

Did you guys get your Benefit sample in the mail this week?! This sample of the Benefit Cosmetics "They’re Real! Double The Lip Lipstick & Liner in One" is actually bigger than a sample - it is a travel size product worth $14.00!

The shade I received is "Pink Thrills" and it is described as a true pink. This is a liner and lipstick in one product! I'm super curious to test this out - when I have time, I will do a post on it!
If you don't want to miss out on these great samples - I always share them on my twitter page and my facebook page so make sure to follow me there!

TWO
Speaking of makeup, this week is currently the Sephora Spring VIB Rouge/VIB sale and i'm totally unimpressed with Sephora! The sale started on the April 18 and goes until the 24th.. but I want 3 items (2 for my 3 year blogiversary giveaway coming up in May!!!) And I was hoping for 1 little gift for myself! Ugh, anyways hopefully they get their act together and get these goodies in stock for me!

THREE

I'm doing a quick share of my March In8 Beauty mask subscription! I have shared the past few months of this subscription because I won a year subscription via Instagram! You can check out my past reviews of the subscription here
This box is $18 a month + $8 shipping anywhere in Canada and comes with 5 different sheet masks! I received:

  • Tony Moly Master Lab Intensive Moisturizing Collagen Elasticity ~ $6.76 CAN. I'm excited to try out this Tony Moly Master Lab - these look really great! Also, this is a pretty pricy mask in Canada so i'm happy to see this.
  • Tony Moly Pureness 100 Snail Mask Sheet ~ $1.99 US. I love snail masks, so this is perfect and i'm sure will be amazing for my skin!!!
  • Skinfood Beauty In Food Mask - Lemon ~ $1.99 US. Lemon masks are great for brightening and clearing skin! I can always use a brightening mask!
  • Etude House 0.2mm Mask - Manuka Honey ~ $2.00 US. Honey masks are great - they are meant to be really moisturizing! These masks are fine, but I have received an Etude House mask in every month so far. While they are different, I do like some variety!
  • Leaders - Mediu Amino Mask "Lifting" ~ $6.76 CAN. I really like Leaders masks and this is meant for dry skin which is great. Also, again a little more expensive so I like to see that in subscriptions!
I did like this month's In8Beauty subscription - I did like that they shipped in a pouch this week instead of in a box. Canadian shipping is expensive, so they should save some costs there and I always think that is good for small businesses. I did notice that they are still charing $8 for shipping, so I do hope they will pass the savings to customers as well so that more people sign up for for the subscription. I love mask subscriptions, so I think the more people that try them the better!!!

FOUR

Mmmm... another good week of food here in Calgary! Have you guys heard of Boogie's Burgers?! This was on the show You Gotta Eat Here! They have crazy burgers (although, since the baby is taking up a lot of belly room, I stuck with a regular single burger that was delicious!!!) And this shake is called The Fat Elvis - it is peanut butter, banana and bacon!! So good!!!

FIVE

Did you see the craze about the Unicorn Frappuccino this week?! Starbucks is just releasing this for the weekend - and of course it is causing a social media shitstorm!

I had to have one because obviously it's beautiful - aaand, I thought it was delicious! It was sweet with mango sweet and a little hint sour. It was fun to try and I don't care if it's super unhealthy and has lots of sugar - that's clearly to be expected (the drink didn't look healthy from the picture!!!)

I hope you guys have a great weekend - don't forget tomorrow is Earth Day! Do something great for the environment!
