June 2024 Ipsy Glambag Unboxing

Ipsy to me is one of the OG Beauty Subscription - I have been getting these once every few months just to see if they still are great! 

The June 2024 Theme is Sunny Days Ahead and described as "If there was ever a print that screamed summer, it’s June’s Glam Bag design. It’s bright, bold, and perfectly captures the feel of a sun-kissed season thanks to its high-impact colors (picked in honor of Pride Month!), wetsuit-esque fabric, and sporty zipper. The Ipsy Glam Bag is $14 per month + $3.95 shipping to Canada (it worked out to $25.06 CAN with the exchange for the month!) Each month comes with 5 curated products based on your preference quiz and I now you get to pick one of the items that is included in the box. It also gives you access to beauty deals in their shop. 

February 2020 Tribe Beauty Box - Unboxing and Review

I subscribed to Tribe Beauty Box in December when I saw that they paired up with one of my favourite youtubers, and it was a pretty good box!

Tribe Beauty Box is all about indie brands and woman owned companies. They describe the box as "discover the wonderful and untapped world of indie brands through our customizable subscription box. This box gives you a chance to receive a mix of trendy and indie products that have been expertly curated. Every Tribe Beauty Box contains at least 3 items from female owned brands." 

February 2019 Monthly Haul - What I Bought

Time for a look at everything I picked up this month - I really love these Monthly Haul posts - they give me a way to share everything I pick up each month as I don't always post about everything I get! 

Plus, this year I think they will hold me a little more accountable - I put myself on a  $100 a month budget, not really because I need to; it's actually more to test myself and be more conscious about what I purchase. I also really want to make sure that I'm enjoying and using everything on my collection! 

Facebook Find ~ $7.00 CAN. I have raved about the Laneige Lip mask before - it made my Best of 2018 Discoveries, which means it is amazing! This really saved my lips and I had to pick up more! I found this little mini of the Laneige in vanilla and the person I bought it from threw it a few extras, which where Sephora Collection lipsticks and a little Laneige mini! 

February 2019 Tribe Beauty Box - Unboxing and Review

I always have to say that subscription boxes just hold a special place on this blog for me - they are really why I started blogging in the first place! While I don't subscribe frequently to subscriptions anymore, when one catches my eye, I have to try it out and let you know my thoughts! 

Tribe Beauty Box is a new subscription to me and I haven't seen much about it; but when I saw a sneak peeked that the Suva Beauty Saffron palette was going to be included in boxes, I jumped on it immediately (some boxes this month will receive the Suva Beauty Block Party palette; however, those we sold out by my sign up time). I have been eyeing this palette for a little bit after seeing some great reviews, so if I can get a whole box of products for the same price of the palette I'm in!

January 2019 Monthly Empties & Month in Masks

Time to dig in to my beauty garbage:

Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara ~ $29.00 CAN. An intensely glossy black mascara that volumizes, lengthens, and curls.

This mascara was pretty good - it lengthened, curled and added volume; but, it didn't add as much volume as I prefer for my lashes (which is really an excessive amount of volume). So it is a pretty mascara - you can see it on me in a look here!)
