Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a great week - it was a pretty typical week for me, but it was stinkin' cold this week so I just hunkered down!

Ahhh - biggest thing of the week is my oldest son, Damian, turned 16! Whoa! He is such a fantastic kid and I'm so proud of him! He truly has handled this year so well and he is just the kindest kid! (But also, I still can't believe 16 years has gone by!)
TWO
Damian of course couldn't do anything for his birthday - so I really wanted to nail the cake he asked for. So, it took a bit, but here is my Warhammer 40K Space Marine cake! I made oreo frosting (a delight) and macarons for it and it took a little bit, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
THREE
I was so excited to see that Indigo has signed copies of Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas and they are on sale this month - only $20 (plus, I has the membership where I save 10% so I just got a signed first edition for $18!) I'm so excited to read this book - I really enjoy Angie Thomas's books and this one sounds so good!
FOUR
I'm still trying to use a different eyeshadow palette every week, and these are the ones I've used for the past 4 weeks! First up is the Pat McGrath Eye Ecstasy Sublime Palette - this is pretty, mostly just lid shades that are very pigmented and metallic. Lovely! Then, I used the Pixi Beauty Eye Effects in Hazelnut Haze - this is also a really lovely palette. It's perfect for every day wear and is a good formula! Then I used the Nabla Side by Side Nude Palette - I've needed to get to using this one and it's pretty, I will be reviewing the Nabla products I have soon! And, then I just got this Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in Copper Charge in my Beautylish Lucky Bag, and it was pretty, but it's not anything amazing (I might declutter it!)
