Manicure Monday - Disney Villains Collection by Morgan Taylor

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend - it was nice and quiet here! Beautiful right now in Calgary, so we were outside, but we didn't get up to too much! 

I purchased these polishes myself

Okay, I'm just curious how a Disney Villains collection could be released without me knowing?! What is going on! I was actually perusing nailpolishcanada for another polish collection when I came across this line and was so excited - you know I love me some Disney! These were actually the Morgan Taylor Fall 2020 line. 

Plus, this collection is gorgeous - I was really excited by the shades that I picked up! This collection is actually a set of 6 polishes (I only picked up 4 of the 6 because the other two were really duplicated in my collection, so I didn't need them). I really wish that there was something Disney or Villainesque on the polishes, just to show that it is a collab! These are all $12.95 CAN and I picked up mine on Nail Polish Canada. 

Morgan Taylor Make 'Em Squirm ~ a metallic purple pearl

Okay, this Ursula polish is stunning! I knew it was going to be good looking at it, but wow, it's lovely on the nails! It feels duochrome-y with a blue to purple metallic finish. It was opaque in 2 coats and this is gorgeous! My favourite in the collection! 

Morgan Taylor Fashion Above All ~ a silver metallic

Oh hey, lovely Cruella shade - this is a really pretty silver metallic. This formula was a little lighter just based on the shade and needed 3 coats to be fully opaque. I don't actually have a ton of silvers, so I will get a lot of use out of it! 

Morgan Taylor Just One Bite ~ a red metallic

Oh, this Evil Queen red is gorgeous as well - probably one of the best reds ever! It's nice and bright, but the metallic shimmer just makes it look so nice! This was opaque in two coats and I love the finish of this polish! 

Morgan Taylor You're In My World Now ~ a black base with blue and copper glitter

This Dr. Facilier polish is really unique polish and it's super pretty - it's a blackish purple base with some shimmers in it. This was basically opaque in one coat, but it just added more depth with two coats! 

And, the last two polishes that I didn't pick up were Mistress of Mayhem (a Maleficent green glitter), and Smoke The Competition (a Hades grey creme) - both were pretty if they aren't polishes that you already have! 

I have to say, I love the formula of these polishes - the brush was fantastic and it was really easy to use, just the shape and the way it fanned out well, it basically covered my nails in one go with little mess, so that was great. Plus, the polish shades were so lovely - I absolutely love them, especially Make 'Em Squirm and Just One Bite!
