I absolutely love liquid eyeshadows - I had a whole post in January about them being my absolute Favourite Makeup Product of 2019! Also, this year I picked up multichrome eyeshadows for my first time and loved them, so as soon as I saw these new Chromium Multichrome Liquid Eyeshadows by Natasha Denona, I knew I had to try them right away!!!
I purchased this product on my own - this post contains affiliate links
Natasha Denona Chromium Multichrome Liquid Eyeshadow ~ $37.00 CAN. A shadow that features a jelly texture with a fresh, hydrating feel and creates a multi-chrome finish with color shift at different angles of light reflection.
I picked up the shade Dragonfly that shifts from fuchsia to bronze to greenish gold - it's gorgeous! You can almost see all the shifts in the package and it's so pretty!
It comes with a little doe-foot applicator to make for easy application. I do find that it can dry down a little quickly and so I have been applying with the applicator and then buffing out the edges of the shadow with a brush.
Here is a look at Dragonfly swatched on my arm - you can see the pink and gold and bronze shifts. (It's actually always hard to capture all the finishes of a multichrome on a still camera; but, it's so lovely!)
The Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow is 2.5 ml or 0.08 oz for $37.00 compared to the Chroma Crystal Liquid Eyeshadow is 8 ml or 0.27 oz for $33.00 - I can't even do that kind of math to compare the price, but it's clearly by far more expensive! Typically multichrome shadows are on the more expensive side (not near this price though) of shadows because of the pigments they use, but it's certainly worth noting as it looks about the size of a deluxe sample shadow!)
Here is a look at the Natasha Denona Chromium Multichrome Liquid Eyeshadow in Dragonfly on my lids - you can really see how fuchsia it is in this light and depending on where you see it from it will also look bronzey or gold. It's such a pretty shade!
I mentioned before that this formula dries down quickly, so I use a small brush to buff out the edge of the shadow so it isn't a stark line. I also think you can feel when it dries down, not that it gets tight or uncomfortable or anything, but you can certainly feel it while you wear it and it settles in to lines a little bit; but, to me, those are really minor things - just something you should be prepared for if you want to shell out almost $40 on a single shadow! Personally, I love the finish and would consider picking up another one too!
What do you guys think about these shadows? Something you would try out?
Oh my god, this is gorgeous! This isn't the color I expected!
ReplyDeleteAhhh - isn't it so pretty?! I love it!
DeleteThis looks stunning on you. I had an issue with my shadows drying up on me, but I'm still always buying them. I love how these shift
ReplyDeleteI have had that issue with some, but I still love liquid shadows so much!
