Summer Glow Makeup Look with New Catrice Products - Insta Bae Palette, Sungasm Face & Body Highlighter and Luminizing Bronzer

I've been really lucky this year to try quite a few Catrice products and I've really enjoyed the products that I've tried from them! So, I was so happy to get a PR package recently with all their new Summer glowy products!

I was really excited to have some new, glowy products to play with - I haven't been wearing a ton of makeup lately (for obvious reasons), and it's made me feel a little uninspired - I have played with my monthly Shop My Stash posts and that's about it; my daily makeup has become quite minimal.

Who doesn't like trying new glowy products to make them feel inspired again to play with makeup?! Here's a closer look at the new Catrice products:

Catrice Sungasm Face & Body Highlighter ~ $11.99 CAN. Bring on the glow! Glow from head to toe with the Catrice SUNGASM Face & Body Highlighter. This jumbo sized, silky soft powder is made with light reflecting pigments to give you that flawless, radiant looking summer skin all year round.

This highlighter is huge! Good thing it's meant to be a body highlighter as well because this will last you forever! Also, $12 at Shoppers for a highlighter this size is fantastic! 

This highlighter only comes in one shade and I was actually a little worried that it looked quite dark for me; but, after swatching it, I did see that it would work well for me and I do think that this could work for a pretty good range of skintones. But, after seeing the lack of shade ranges in products (I think especially the drugstore), this would be really great to see in at least 3 shades - light, medium and dark! 

This is a gorgeous shade and the highlighter formula is really nice! This added a great glow without any glitter. I loved this on my cheekbones and cupid's bow and it looked so glowy and gorgeous! I also added this to my clavicle bones for a body glow! 

Catrice Sungasm Luminizing Bronzer ~ $9.99 CAN. Dust onto face to warm up the skin. Pro tip: Use with the SUNGASM Face & Body Highlighter to enhance the glow on the high points of the face.

I love the packaging of the highlighter so much with the circle and clear top, so I do actually wish that the bronzers had the same package; but, I don't mind the cardboard packaging and it's a nice compact bronzer size! I have shades CO1 and CO2.

Right now Shoppers only has one of the shades online, and I can't speak to if they have the second shade in store (because I haven't been shopping in stores for quite a while!) Again, I do think a few more shades in this line would be beneficial so that everyone can experience Catrice! 

Here are shades CO1 Golden Ecstasy swatched on top and CO2 Bronzed Euphoria swatched below. I really love Golden Ecstasy - it's the perfect golden bronzed shade for me and I have really been enjoying it! I love that it's glowy, but not shimmery, just a nice satin finish! 

Here's a closer look at the bronzer on my forehead and edges of my face and the highlighter on my cheekbones and cupid bow! The highlighter is so gorgeous! 

Catrice Insta Bae Eyeshadow Palette ~ $16.99 CAN. You were born to be a #star! This Instagram inspired palette will get you glammed up and ready for that #selfie in no time! The Catrice Insta Bae Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 intensely pigmented eyeshadows in bronzy-golden shades with a variety of matte and metallic-shimmer finishes.

I think that Catrice is stepping up the drugstore eyeshadow palette game - they have been releasing great 9 and 12 pan eyeshadows palettes at great prices. They are mainly on the neutral side with some pops and different colour schemes. I really love that this one has added in some unique eyeshadow formulas too! 

I think the packaging on these is good - an easy cardboard package and each shadow has a little gold rim around each shadow, plus it has shade names under all the shadows. Again, very impressive for under $20!

This is a really pretty palette - I love the range of shadow shades. I do think it could benefit from a few more mattes and a little more variety in the mattes. I think the looks I've create come out a little deeper than I always prefer - but it's totally gorgeous with bronzey, glowy looks and it's very pretty overall. The mattes blend decent and the metallics are nice and smooth. There are two unique formulas in this palette, #BLOGGER and #FOMO are these super smooth creamy shimmer formulas and they are gorgeous! 

Here's an eye look that I created using the Insta Bae palette - I used #REPOST as the base shadow and #FACETUNE in the crease. I deepened the crease and outer corner with #GLAM and #DUPE and then applied #FILTER to the middle lid and #BLOGGER on the inner lid. I used #FOMO on my inner corner and #TRENDING on my lower lash line! I'm happy with how all these shadows performed.

Overall, I'm really happy with how the look came together and the products preformed. I absolutely love the face & body highlighter - it's a gorgeous shade and it wore well all day. The bronzer and the eyeshadow palette were both really good and all the products fit with that glowy, bronzy Summer look!
