For the month of August, the #CBBxManiMonday group is carrying on with our Summer Lingo theme and this week I chose Cold Desserts and Treats for my theme!
We have a few ice cream monsters in our house, so ice cream cones are our go-to Summer treats! I personally like ice cream - give me a chocolately, peanut buttery flavour and I'm sold! Also, I personally prefer soft serve because I'm the slowest ice cream eater; but, I will usually eat whatever is my option!
The products that I used for this week's manicure are:
- Sally Hansen x Jelly Belly Insta-Dri Nail Color in Birthday Cake
- Square Hue polish in King Street
- Morgan Taylor polish in All My Heart Desires
- Smackers Nail Polish in Wickedly Stylish
- OPI Infinite Shine primer
- Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
I also used a stamping tool and toothpick for this nail art!
For my nails, I started with a primer and 2 coats of Birthday Cake as the base polish - I thought the confetti style polish would add to the ice cream look and I think it worked. Then, using the brown polish and a toothpick, I created triangles for the cones. Then with the dotting tool, I dotted on white, pink and a light brown (created by mixing the brown and white) to create a neapolitan ice cream look! I finished with a nail art top coat!
