Manicure Monday (Watermelon Nail Art) + Monthly Pedicure (Foot Mask and Blue Toes)

Happy Manicure Monday!!!

This week I am getting back in to the nail art and my inspiration is WATERMELONS!!!

How stinkin cute are these?!

Here is a look at the products I used:

  • OPI "Suzi Skis in the Pyreness" (dark grey - should be a black but I couldn't find one)
  • Ciate "Apple & Custard" (light green)
  • Art Deco Green nail art polish
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Bubblegum Pink
  • nail art brush
  • (not pictured OPI Top Coat & Formula X nail cleanser and base coat)
Here are the steps I followed for this week's Manicure:
1. Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
2. 2 Coats of pink/red polish

3. Use lighter green polish a create a french tip - I freehanded this step (it doesn't need to look perfect), but feel free to use a nail sticker

4. Use the dark green polish and create a tip over top of the light green

4. Using nail art brush and dark grey (again should be a black polish) - create a couple of dashes for seeds
5. Top Coat

Again, here is a look at my final results:

I love these watermelon nails - so cute! And actually quite easy!!

Now, time for my Monthly Pedicure!

My first step for this month's Pedicure:

Shara Shara Bebe Foot Hydration Mask ~ $2.26. Includes 9 kinds of herb complex such as jasmine extract and sage extract and urea and salicylic acid to soften rough skin. Offers moisture and nourishment to create smooth and soft baby-like foot.

I got this in a Mask Genie pouch and have been waiting to try it! You open the booties and put them on for 20 minutes:

They actually made my feet feel very soft!! This was so fun and a different "mask" from what I usually wear!

Here are the products I used for this month's Pedicure:
  • OPI Top Coat
  • Formula X nail cleanser and base coat
  • Charlotte Russe hot pink 2 way nail art
  • Deborah Lippmann "Video Killed the Radio Star" (from the June Topbox)
Here are the steps I used for this month's Pedicure:
1. Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
2. 2 coats of base polish (blue)
3. Using pink nail art create 3 diagonal lines each direction over the toe, over-lapping each other:

4. Top Coat

I wanted to keep my toes a little quieter as my nails are busy this week!!
