Manicure Monday - Shimmery Gem Stone Nail Stickers

Happy Manicure Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend - I was getting refreshed for the weekend and ready for a week (fingers crossed it was not half as exhausting as last week!)

I have been loving this month's #CBBxManiMonday theme of "experiments" - it's really helped get me back in to the nail art groove and I've been having fun trying new techniques!


But, this week I needed a quick look and since I have a ton of different stickers (plus I just picked up a few 3D nail stickers recently), so I just wanted to experiment and play with a shimmery look with triangles and gem stones! 

I've gotten quite a few different stickers lately - the latest ones are these cool 3D nail art stickers, and I've gotten quite a few different sets from my Scratch Monthly Mani Kit subscriptions and also some cute Maniology gold foil stickers. 

I also used Nails Inc Rainbow Wishes as a base polish and OPI shine primer and top coat! 

For this week's manicure, I started with a base coat and 2 coats of Rainbow Wishes as the base. Then, taking the stickers I just applied different shapes of triangles, gem stones to the nails. I just put them in a random pattern and made the nails match. Then I finished with two coats of top coat! 

I think these turned out okay - the stickers were a little tricky, but they applied well and didn't budge. The two coats of the top coat helped - but the texture of 3D stickers is a little hard to get used to!
