Spring 2024 - The Jilly Box Subscription Unboxing

I'm a big fan of Jillian Harris, so when she announced that she was starting a subscription box, I was so excited! The box started with the Winter 2019 box and sadly, I was not one of the lucky originals who won a subscription spot, so I sign up every season and hope to get picked for a lottery spot!

Spring 2024 - The Jilly Box Subscription Unboxing
I purchased this box - this post contains affiliate links

The Jilly Box is a quarterly seasonal subscription box - the products within the box include some of Jillian’s (and Team Jilly’s!) favourite items (and brands) from home decor, fashion, bath and beauty, health and wellness, accessories perfect for each season. Some of the items included will be custom designed exclusively for the Jilly Box. The Jilly Box really focuses on including products from small, local businesses while being ethically sourced and inclusive. They also focus on reducing plastic waste and packaging - the big boxes can be turned inside out and reused! Also, they try to include Canadian, woman owned brands, as well as Bipoc and LGBTQ owned brands as well.
The Jilly Box is $199 CAN quarterly + taxes and includes free shipping to Canada and the U.S. And, while this is on the pricier end for a subscription box, it will contain at least $400 worth of products each season! The box is shipped out prior to the start of each season - so the Winter box shipped in mid-November.

The box always includes a little booklet that includes information about each product, recipes, interviews with makers and more! The theme of this season's box is focused around slow mornings, which is cute! Here is a closer look at all the products in the Spring 2024 Jilly Box:

Be Home Shae Glass Bud Vase ~ $38.00 CAN. Our Shae glassware collection is slender and minimal with a ribbed texture that feels good to hold in your hand. Elegant yet functional, this creative assortment is crafted by hand from pressed glass in small batches, making each set truly one of a kind.

This is a cute little bud vase meant to hold a couple of cut stems - it's cute, a little smaller than expected but it might be cute in the Summer to snip a few of my garden flowers and bring them in, or would make a cute gift too!

One Wednesday Waffle Knit Robe ~ $120.00 CAN. Prepare yourself for love at first touch, our Waffle Knit Robe is your new all-season crush. Its soft Turkish, stone-washed cotton makes for a plush, absorbent, and temperature controlled texture to wrap yourself in post-bath, mid-morning, or all day long. Bring it with you for a cabin getaway, pack it in your hospital bag, or sport it on Zoom. No one is judging.

This was a pre-existing product, but this did come out with four unique colours for this particular box with Jillian Harris. I got the pink one, which is perfect for me! I think this is really nice and light-weight - I don't love adding a bulky layer, but I can see trying to cozy up with this in the mornings!

Tease Wellness Heated Mug 2.0 ~ $115.00 CAN. We levelled up our Smart Heated Mug Kit 2.0 for busy people who have high (temperature) standards and good taste while combining multi-functional, innovative design. When the heating coaster is not in use you can charge your wireless devices.

This is a cute product - a little ceramic mug with a warming pad, that comes in 4 custom colours. I'm not sure if they were able to customize all the mug and robe colours, but mine actually matched which is lovely. This product is a really cute idea, but it's not something that I can really use, so it is a product that I can pass on!

INE+ Nutrition Super Greens - Orchard Greens ~ $63.00 CAN. You all know I have been on a mission to prioritize my wellness this year, and one product that blew me away was this Super Greens Powder from ine+ nutrition! Featured in your Jilly Box is a custom Orchard Peach flavour. This powder is intended to improve gut health, better-focused energy, alertness vitality, mental clarity and support for brain health. Simply scoop and dissolve in a glass of water or smoothie, and enjoy!

I've never been one to reach for greens or try them, but I'm open to it. I do tend to eat a lot of veggies and fruits so it's not something that I think I need, but I'm excited to try them out!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir ~ $66.00 CAN. A natural face mist to prep skin, immediately tighten pores & set makeup for dewy, glowing skin.

I love a face mist, so I'm excited to try this one out - I've only tried a few products from this brand before. I use a mist every morning and night in my routine - this can also double as a setting spray, but I will likely only focus on this in my skincare routine!

Mala The Brand Cereal Candle ~ $42.00 CAN. Nostalgia in a jar. with a perfect balance of light lemon, citrus and berries, this candle will take you right back to your best childhood memories: saturday morning cartoons in your pajamas with a big bowl of your favorite cereal. dare we say it smells like fruit loops…?

Okay, 100% this smells exactly like fruit loops and it's amazing - I wasn't sure if it was something that I needed, but it is so good! This should burn for 40-45 hours and I'm really excited for this scent - it's perfect for Spring.

Mifa Dry Brush ~ $29.00 CAN. Dry brushing is a centuries-old beauty ritual that helps improve skin health by exfoliating, increasing blood circulation, and promoting lymphatic drainage. This ritual results in brighter and smoother skin as it sloughs off dead skin cells, allowing for deeper penetration when you apply your moisturizer. The brush is made with 100% natural, biodegradable sisal fibres that have a medium firmness for a gentle yet effective treatment, giving you a beautiful, natural glow.

Dry brushing is not something I've ever done before - I've heard good things. Basically you start at your ankles and brush up your body prior to showering. I'm not sure - have you tried dry brushing before?! Thoughts?!

Overall, I thought this was a decent box - I know it's lots of people's favourites, and there were some hits for me and overall some new things to try, but it's not my favourite box. I love the candle and the mist and will give everything else a try! While the box is pretty indulgent at $200 a quarter, it did come with a value of $473 CAN and I'm always excited about this subscription!

Have you tried this subscription box yet?!
