Monthly Beauty and Book Haul ~ January 2024

Back in 2022, I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I've been pretty good about sticking to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year!

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

Monthly Beauty and Book Haul ~ January 2024
I purchased everything in this post

Shoppers Haul ~ $7.37 CAN. Always using my PC points on my Shoppers Hauls so they are nice and affordable! I really wanted to try then new Revlon Illuminance products and ELF blush - stay tuned for reviews comeing! And, a Sally Hansen collab with Hersheys - I couldn't resist!

Indigo Pre-order ~ $25.19 CAN. I am so obsessed with books with sprayed edges - I can't even! So, if they sound good I'm preordering them all so I don't miss out on them! This is a fantasy romance and naturally, I can't wait to read it!

Ipsy Bag + Add On ~ $31.10 CAN. Yes, I recently got back on the Ipsy train - I mean probably not for long, it's really not something that I need and on a budget it does really chip away at it with products I don't really need. But, this month I was pretty excited about the multichrome eyeliners and even added on another one in a different shade for only $4! You can see my full unboxing of this here

Indigo Preorder ~ $21.91 CAN. I was really excited for another eerie book by Krystal Sutherland - this one is surrounding magic and following three girls perspectives and the cover is stunning! Cannot wait to read!

Maniology Mani x Me ~ $57.00 CAN. Another subscription I jumped on this month with the Mani x Me box by Maniology - it comes with two exclusive stamping plates, two early access polishes, a stamper and an extra goodie, which was a powder pen this month. I also added on a stamping top coat. This months theme was Purrfect Prose and it was adorable - you can check out my unboxing here

ColourPop Order ~ $99.63 CAN. Okay, I could not resist picking up some Twilight goodies when ColourPop announced the collab - yes I had to get in there! I actually love this colour story and cant wait to shimmer like a vampire! It's going to be great!! And, I picked up a couple multi-chrome products too!

So, I spent $242.20 - slightly more than my budget, and honestly, I barely went close to this in a month last year, so I do need to reign it in a little and try and be a little more careful with my purchases overall!
