I always look forward to this month for nails because for the whole month of February, the #CBBxManiMonday group is going to do Pink & Red nails for Valentine's Day! I absolutely love this colour theme and am hoping I can get some good inspiration all month for nail art!
I'm doing a little Frog themed nails for this week - don't kiss any frogs this Valentine's Day!
The products I used for this week's mani are:
- Essie All-in-one top and base coat
- Sally Hansen Insta-Dri x Kisses polish in KISSES On My Mind
- Nails Inc Mani Marker in White
- Maniology Stamping Polish in Love Potion
- Maniology Stamping Polish in Stamping Polish in Straight Up Black
- OPI polish nail laquer in How Does Your Zen Garden Grow?
- Maniology Smudge-Free Top Coat
I also used a nail art brush and dotting tool to help finish the mani!
For this manicure, I started with a base coat and two coats of green polish. For the XO nails, I used a mani marker and a nail art brush with the pink to paint on the X's and O's. Then, for the frog, I used the green polish to create a frog shape, added a light green polish for the chest/belly. I used the mani marker to create the eye shapes, and a dotting tool to create the pupils. Then, with a nail art brush I created a the smile and dotted on some little blush on the cheeks. Then, I finished with a nail art top coat!
