Monthly Beauty and Book Haul - March 2023

Last year I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I really stuck to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year!

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

I purchased everything in this post

Target Haul ~ $149.89 CAN. I went to California at the start of the month, and just did a little shopping at Target and CVS, so first stop was Target! I was excited to try the ELF Whoa Glow because it's not available in Canada, and I picked up a couple newer items from them that have caught my eye! I also picked up an Olive & June polish and press-ons (the press-ons are absolutely terrible - you can see my review here). I picked up the brush because I forgot one, but it's amazing, and the Natrium glow SPF is supposed to be amazing. The sheet masks look amazing and I can't wait to try everything!

CVS Haul ~ $48.79 CAN. I went to CVS for a few specific items, and none of them were available, but I found some cute sheet masks that I am excited to try. The cost includes my exchange rate back to Canadian dollars, so a little more than I might spent on 6 sheets masks, but still happy to use them soon!

Thrifting Book Find ~ $6.00 CAN. I love finding books on my wish-list at the thrift store. I really enjoyed this graphic novel series, it's super cute about a girl overcoming grief with a little ghostie. There is a third book coming out later this year!

Indigo Preorder ~ $14.24 CAN. I love K. O'Neill books - the Tea Dragon graphic novels are some of the loveliest books I've read. So, naturally I pre-ordered their latest graphic novel and I can't wait to read it!

So, this month I spent $218.92 CAN, slightly over budget, but even being in the States I didn't go too crazy!
