Monthly Beauty and Book Haul - March 2023

Last year I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I really stuck to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year!

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

I purchased everything in this post

Target Haul ~ $149.89 CAN. I went to California at the start of the month, and just did a little shopping at Target and CVS, so first stop was Target! I was excited to try the ELF Whoa Glow because it's not available in Canada, and I picked up a couple newer items from them that have caught my eye! I also picked up an Olive & June polish and press-ons (the press-ons are absolutely terrible - you can see my review here). I picked up the brush because I forgot one, but it's amazing, and the Natrium glow SPF is supposed to be amazing. The sheet masks look amazing and I can't wait to try everything!

Monthly Beauty Favourites - March 2023

Here's a look at what I'm loving this past month:

Last year I started just picking any number of products I'm loving, instead of trying to find 5 each month (which I did previously!) So, whatever number of products I'm loving, that's what I will be sharing.

April 2020 - Monthly Empties and Month in Masks

Here is a look at my beauty garbage from April:

Some products were received as PR samples - this post contains affiliate links

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder ~ $8.00 CAN. The Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder is a loose powder that helps absorb oil and excess sebum.

I just finished this up in my 20 in 2020 Project Pan - I've had this since 2015 and it was time to use it up. It's not a bad powder, but I'm just not super in to loose powders in my routine anymore. This was super fine and I thought it creased under my eyes a little.

Five on Friday - June 12, 2015

Time to link up for another Five on Friday!

ONE

So all of my talk over the last two weeks of my Bachelorette Party, I forgot to mention the adorable favors from the weekend! One of my bridesmaids made customized glitter wine glasses for everyone who came for the weekend - I love these! What a great surprise!
