Last year I started just picking any number of products I'm loving, instead of trying to find 5 each month (which I did previously!) So, whatever number of products I'm loving, that's what I will be sharing.
I've been slower at using and trying out new products, so naturally my Favourites have been on the smaller side - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:
Victoria Beckham Cheeky Posh Cream Blush Stick in Playground ~ $53.00 CAN. A weightless cream blush like no other: buildable colour, velvety texture, skin-softening finish, all day wear.
Okay, I have been wanting to try Victoria Beckham beauty products - I've heard great things and my husband picked out a few goodies for me for Christmas and I've been trying them since (I will have a review of the few products I tried from them soon on here with more details!) But, so far so good - I'm absolutely loving this cream blush stick - the shade playground is described as "a mid-tone terracotta nude". This is a gorgeous, nicely pigmented cream blush. I prefer to apply this with a stippling blush to the cheeks and it's gorgeous! The shade and formula is stunning - it's long-lasting and has a nice satin finish on the cheeks!
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in Mesmerize ~ $33.00 CAN. An innovative powder highlighter that gives skin an instant glass-like sheen for an easy, natural-looking glow that lasts.
This has got to be one of the most viral products right now - this highlighter is everywhere. I did a first impression post try-on post with this in it and it's great. The shade mesmerize is described as a "rose bronze" and it's lovely. It's a high shine that's not glittery and I have been using it non-stop since I got it. I love that it I can use this for cool or warm looks and it's a gorgeous shade and finish!
Victoria Beckham Lid Lustre Crystal Infused Eyeshadow in Starlight ~ $45.00 CAN. Your smoky-eye-in-a-single-swipe fine pressed eye shadow for otherworldly shine at your fingertips.
It's no secret, but I'm a total sucker for single shadows - and I love trying all the formulas and I tend to love them. Again, I know this is on the luxury/high-end with the price point, but this is a lovely formula. The shade starlight is described as "24k gold-infused with Jasper, known to provide protection and absorb negative energy." The crystal part is whatever to me - this is a gorgeous, shimmery creamy powder shadow! I apply with my finger and it's got a gorgeous finish and wears so well. I will have a full post on this soon too!
JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk ~ $38.00 CAN. (also available for $29.00 US on jvnhair.com). A clean, lightweight, heat-activated styling cream that adds smoothness, style memory, and protection against heat and humidity.
I have been using this for quite a while actually and I can't believe I haven't talked about it in a favourites - I realized this past couple of months just how much I love this. I do have a full review on this, you can check it out here! This is a great product - I use it when I'm heat styling my hair as it just makes it so smooth and soft with no frizz! I might prefer this to air dry cream because I just find it more smoothing! Plus, it smells so good!
What were you loving this month?!
