Best of 2023 ~ Top 8 Skincare, Haircare & Nails Products I Tried This Year

I'm always excited to round up my MOST favourite products of the year - I just shared my top makeup products of 2023, so make sure you can check that out here! So, it's time to round up my favourite skincare, hair and nail products - I always pull from any products that I've tried within the year, whether it was released in 2023 or not - if I've tried it this year and loved it, it's in here!

With that being said, everything I talked about on my Monthly Favourites, I still love; but, when I think of the best products of the year, I think of the ones that have been total standouts or game-changers in my routine! So, that is what I'm going to focus on for this year's Top 8 Favourites!

My hubby and I celebrated 8 years married this past week! We don't typically do much but he did get me some wine and flowers and we went out for dinner to our favourite Indian restaurant, Karma and it was delicious!

E.L.F. Stay All Night Micro-Fine Setting Mist ~ $14.00 CAN. Lightweight makeup setting spray for up to 16 hours of wear.

This was actually a little bit of a whim purchase when I forgot setting spray on a trip, but I really liked this - I loved how fine the mist was and this rivalled any of my favourite high end setting sprays in terms of lasting power. I used this at a couple of weddings this Summer and that is always the highest regards I can pay to a setting spray! This made my Monthly Favourites in September 2022 and it's still great.

Happy Friday everyone - I hope you all have a great week! We had a crazy amount of snow and cold, so it's been a long week, but I did take Tuesday off so I had an extra day hiding from the snow!

Nothing crazy, but we had a really cute matching family moment - we all got ready and picked our clothes out and turned out that we all matched up! So cute - we had lots of family birthdays and family time over the weekend and it was great! 

Quarterly Beauty Empties ~ October - December 2022

Monthly Empties posts were getting a little overwhelming - they were a lot to write and keep notes about. I've decided to still talk about empties, but only makeup products and skincare products (no more body, hair, nail or personal care products!) It was just getting too much, but I still want to share my thoughts on products I've used up!

Physicians Formula Butter Believe It! Skin Mist ~ $17.49 CAN. Incredibly weightless formula smooths skin texture and effortlessly sets and refreshes makeup for all-day wear!

I didn't really need a new setting spray, but I couldn't resist! I love the scent of the Physician's Formula products, and this has that summery scent that smells delicious and I loved that! I finished this one, but this one was a little thick and the spray wasn't as thin or easy to apply.
