Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have had a great week! It's been busy here and I'm glad it's the weekend!

I'm so excited with my thrifting haul! The Women in Need (WINS) Thrift stores in Calgary do a 50% on the first Wednesday of each month for a customer appreciation day and it's been a while since I've been thrifting there. This month I managed to get to two stores and found some amazing deal! I got three pairs for jeans (two RW&Co and one pair Eddie Bauer all great condition), plus a brand new pair of boots and slim winter boots and some books! Great finds!

Alright, the Beauty Community weirdly tends to have a lot of drama - as someone who just does this as a hobby, I tend to just quietly unfollow those and keep my thoughts to myself. But, the #mascaragate drama is everywhere and honestly, there has been some pretty terrible things before, but I've never really followed anyone with the drama (nor have I followed Mikayla, her makeup style is not mine and I'm not tiktok). But, I do have a hard time with accepting money and then telling people something is great - basically lying for you money and stick false lashes on. I never like to edit my photos - I think skin and texture and lines and "imperfections" should show. That's how people will know what things look like. But, I also added my two sense because I think you control your content - pick people who align with you and I know why some people say "it's not a big deal", but it just goes with the whole idea that social media is fake and no one should be trusted. Pick who you can trust and get rid of the rest!
