Here's a look at the things I was loving this past month:

The Skoah was received as part of the Ambassador program - this post contains affiliate links

I used to always have pick 5 products each month for my Monthly Favourites, but that is one thing I'm changing this year - whatever I'm loving, I will share whether it's 2 or 10 products!

I've been slower at using and trying out new products, so naturally my Favourites have been on the smaller side - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:

Monthly Beauty Favourites - November 2022

Jason Wu Single Ready To Sparkle Creamy Glitter Formula in S2 ~ $17.99 CAN. A glitter shadow that's bouncy and multideimensional.

This is a newer brand to Shopper's Drug Mart in Canada and I was really excited to try something from them! I have done a look and review on this in my New Drugstore Products post, so make sure you check it out. This is a creamy, glittery shadow but it applies and wears like a powder so it's approachable and super easy to use, but comes with a big impact on the eyes and is long-wearing! Super pretty shadow!

Maybelline SuperStay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipstick in Unrivaled ~ $18.99 CAN. SuperStay Vinyl Ink delivers up to 16 hours of wear. This no budge liquid lipstick shakes up the laws of longwear with high impact vinyl color that stays all day. Formula enriched with Vitamin E and aloe gives a comfortable feel. Simply shake, swipe and go.

Okay, it's been a while since I've loved a lip formula this much - this has been super hyped up by a couple of youtubers I follow, so when it when on sale, I thought I'd give it a try! It's a long-wear, budge proof lipstick with a shiny vinyl finish. They are mostly deep shades and truly what a great formula for a dark lipstick that you don't want to go anywhere. Also check the New Drugstore Products post linked above so you can see it on - it's stunning!!! I found the formula needs to set for 5 to 10 minutes before being fully smudge-proof. This is a little sticky, but seriously wore for a whole night Christmas party and it wore amazing all night!

Monthly Beauty Favourites - November 2022

Skoah Illuminate Serum ~ $110.00 CAN. Sun damage? Acne scarring? Melasma? This serum provides a 1-2 punch for brightening the skin and reducing of hyperpigmentation from sun damage, acne scarring, melasma or aging.

Okay, this serum is so good - I'm such a big fan of the ingredients and combination in here! This mixes niacinamide with arbutin, tranexamic acid and peptides to make this perfection combination for skin brightness. I do suffer from some scarring and redness and I can say with using this for a month and half and longer, and I certainly saw a visible reduction in the redness and my skin looks so good using this. I do use this as an evening serum, and still use a vitamin c in the morning. This needs to be used with an spf given some of the ingredients in here!

Commodity Book - Personal Travel Spray ~ $35.00 CAN. Conjuring the nostalgic, crisp, woody essence of Book Expressive with sandalwood and cedarwood, this softer rendition puts the emphasis on freshness with the addition of aromatic black tea. It’s a soft, aromatic, woody scent that reads close to the skin.

I have never tried any scents from Commodity before, but I kept seeing this book scent and I caved during the VIB sale and had to give it a try. Now Commodity scents come in two types Expressive in black packages and Personal in white packages. I personally prefer a more subtle scent as I actually rarely wear perfume, so the personal scent profile is perfect for me! This is profiled as an Earthy and Woody scent and the key notes are Black Tea, Sandalwood, and Cedarwood. I'm terrible at scent descriptions, but the fragrance is described as "the original Book Expressive was inspired by turning the pages and breathing in the smell of dry paper mingling in with the open fresh air. In Book- Personal, I took that inspiration and wanted to create a quieter, more peaceful and warm experience." And, it is a warm, cozy scent that is lovely!

Lumify - Redness Reliever Eye Drops Trial Size ~ $20.99 CAN. Lumify reduces redness to help eyes appear whiter and brighter.

I'm not above putting random items in my favourites - I actually heard about these drops back in the Summer as a friend has been getting them sent from the US, but finally Canada has approved these for use. So seriously, these actually work so well - so I wake up super early and always have lightly red eyes so this works with one drop for really bright eyes; I save this for important court or meeting days. This does use a low dose (0.025%) of brimonidine to help brighten the whites of your eyes. They work super well!

What were you loving this month?!
