I used to always have pick 5 products each month for my Monthly Favourites, but that is one thing I'm changing this year - whatever I'm loving, I will share whether it's 2 or 10 products!
I'm not trying too many new things this month since I've been all over the place this month and I've hardly been home, so picking a few on the go products - here's a closer look at what I've been loving this month:
E.L.F. Stay All Night Micro-Fine Setting Mist ~ $14.00 CAN. Lightweight makeup setting spray for up to 16 hours of wear.
This was actually a little bit of a whim purchase - I had travelled and forgot my setting spray, so I just went to Walmart and picked up the cheapest setting spray I could find! What a great purchase that I ended up getting! This is actually a fantastic setting spray - I loved how fine the mist was and this rivalled any of my favourite high end setting sprays in terms of lasting power. I used this at a couple of weddings this Summer and that is always the highest regards I can pay to a setting spray!
Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara - Waterproof ~ $4.99 CAN. Royal sister is Now Waterproof! Lash Princess False Lash Waterproof gives you voluminous false lash effects of the original in a new waterproof formula! The conic shape fiber brush provides lashes with dramatic volume and sculpted length.
This has been my only used waterproof mascara since I tried it last year for the first time and it's the only one I will use now. It's super affordable and makes my lashes full and fluffy - if you want to see it on me, check out my past review here! But really, using this over the Summer in hot weather, at Summer weddings, near the water, this is simply the best I've used!
Nabla Skin Glazing Blush Highlighter in Lola ~ $27.00 CAN. A watermelon pink with amber and peach reflects.
These have been referred to as blushes and highlighters, so you can use these as both really depending on your skin tone and there are a range of shades. I picked this up in Italy and they only had a few, or I might have picked up a lighter shade to try out as a highlighter as well. This has been a beautiful Summer blush because it is a glowy look - it's got a gorgeous pink and peach reflect and it looks beautiful on the cheeks. The perfect Summer glow and you only need one product because it does offer some reflect on the cheeks as well.
