I'm so excited - the Lush Kitchen Subscription is finally in North America through Lush Canada and US. The Lush Kitchen Subscription box is a monthly subscription box full of exclusive Lush Kitchen goodies made exclusively for the box - every month subscribers vote on the monthly menu of products that they would or would not like to see in the box, so you can help pick what is included in the box! Also, all of the products included in each box will be vegan.
Each month the Lush Kitchen Subscription is $49.95 CAN box is per month + shipping (shipping to Alberta is $6.00 CAN and likely varies province to province). The subscription will come with 4-5 exclusive products and I think it will include a variety of products that Lush makes; but, will of course be mostly bath and body products.
I purchased this box
Each month you pay and vote for products that are coming in the following month's box - so for this October's box, you had until September 5 to vote on the products you'd like to see and then payment comes out on the 6th of the previous month. Then, Lush spends the month making the products and ships it out at the end of September so receive it in October!
You do have the option to skip months, which is great - I only get it every few months! The box arrived filled with Lush's usual cornstarch peanuts, an ingredient card, and the a QR code to scan for product details. Also, I thought the UK and US at first would be different, but this was labelled volume 29 and it looks like the UK ones are the same, so it's nice everyone
Here is a closer look at the products in this month's box:
Lush Ghost Shower Gel ~ Haunting florals of ylang ylang oil and a jasmine absolute mingle with soothing rose water in the exquisitely-fragrant medley.
First up, this packaging is sooo good - I love it! This is a past loved product that was voted it and it's a floral scent, which isn't always expected near Halloween, but I'm excited to try it. This also has a lot of oils in it, making it a thin but hydrating formula!
Lush Potion Body Lotion ~ An elixir of spicy, floral magic. Rose enchants with a sweet fragrance, as tangerine oil draws your mind into a soothed state.
I have not seen a Lush lotion in a container like this - it's usually a little pot, but this is always a little easier to use. This is also a past loved product that was voted in to come back in to this month's box!
Lush Banana Ghost Shower Bomb ~ This phantom fancy combines nourishing fresh banana with sweet and warm vanilla absolute. Sure to keep the ghosts at bay!
This is so cute - I love a shower bomb for when I don't have time for a bath. This also looks like it will last a couple of showers. It's a tropical scent and I love that! What a cute little ghostie! This is a new and exclusive item in this box.
Lush Mean Green Mother From Outer Space Bubble Bar ~ Lashings of lime are sure to send you on an otherworldly bubble bath experience. Balanced with fragrant neroli oil to lift your spirits.
Okkkay, stop - how cute is this?! It's a Venus Flytrap or Chomper Plant with a little heart tongue. I love this - it is a new product to this month's box, so this is the only place you can get it. I was running out of bubble bars, so this is perfect!
Lush Cobweb Bath Bomb ~ A black sugar bath bomb to clear the dusty corners of your mind with the sweet but herbal lavender fragrance of the sought after Black Pearl scent.
This is really cute too - it's a little bath bomb, with a tad bit of glitter on the top. I'm a little surprised that nothing in this box in pumpkin scented or spicy, but they are still cute! I like the Lush bath bombs, so this will get used!
This box also included a spooky pin and hardcover notebook - love when they add cute little extras in the box!
I'm sooo excited that I no longer have to pay around $100 per month to get it shipped from the UK! I paid just over $50 for this box, and this isn't about the value to me, this is mainly about getting exclusive and retro Lush products! If you are a Lushie, you will likely love this box for the nostalgia and exclusive scents!
What do you think about this subscription?
